Have you ever mooned someone?

Because 14-year-olds do stupid things, all teenagers are unworthy of respect...?
Doing stupid things makes you look stupid. People who look stupid get no respect.

No, because I'm not 14 anymore.

Pfft, you were 14 when you were 14. Plus it's way funnier when adults do it!

Yes, I have. As an adult. It was hilarious.

It's just a butt, people. It exists to be laughed at.

I think mooning is normally done anonymously so most people won't know you did it and won't lose respect for you except the people who saw you do it but they don't know you anyway.

But it contributes to almost all teenagers. Since it's stupid and seems to be popular among teenagers, people think that most teenagers do it. Thus the lack of respect.

Well that's hardly the only reason people don't respect teenagers.

Remember the scene in Braveheart where they moon the English?

Who cares if "teenagers aren't respected" or not? Have fun now, do some stupid stuff you can get away with while you're young. You can have a respectful, boring desk job and shake your head at those uncultured whippersnappers when you're older.

I'm literally astounded that mooning is being taken this seriously. It's a bum. Bums are funny, as an adult or a kid. If you can't do it as a child then you aren't having enough fun. And in my eyes if you won't do it as an adult you take yourself too seriously.

Come on, mooning is hilarious. It only takes a couple seconds to do it so you won't take that much time out of your schedule.

Like spend your days on a gaming forum complaining about the stupidity of teenagers?
It's certainly better than mooning. ;)

Come on, mooning is hilarious.
To some* people.

*("Some" meaning only a few, but enough to make the rest of teenagers look stupid.")

I so want to put a photo of me mooning on here to prove a point, but I fear this may be deemed too far :p

Mooning is a proud tradition in the City of Laguna Niguel, California. In 1979, a patron at a local bar told his buddies he'd buy a drink for all who would run outside to the rail road tracks and "moon" the next train, which many did. Since then, an annual "mooning" of the Amtrak train has become a tradition.

The 33rd Annual Mooning of Amtrak is scheduled for all day Saturday, July 14, 2012, Laguna Niguel, (Orange County) California, U.S.A. So if you've never mooned anyone before, this may be a good time to start making plans.

Mooning is also a way to "salute" your enemy and express the high regard you have for them. At the Battle of Crécy, in 1346, Norman soldiers mooned the English longbowmen, which ended up not being such a good idea.

I've been mooned, but never retaliated. Only because I was too late. The Mooner was in a car that I was passing.

I think it's hilarious, but I could never do it myself.

I'm not one to get nekkid in public.

Pro-tip: stating something is not the same as justifying it.
