This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By
giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally.

This test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in
which you will have to make a decision.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please

scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line. .....

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around
you caused by severe flooding.

This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist
working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this
epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot
career-making photo's.

There are houses and people swirling around you, and some disappearing
under the water. Nature is unleashing all of it's destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water.

He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the
debris.

You move closer .... somehow the man looks familiar.

You suddenly realise who it is. It's George W Bush! At the same time
you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under....
forever.

You have two options .. you can save the life of GW Bush or you can
shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death
of one of the

world's most powerful men.

So here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the
classic simplicity of black and white?

ROFLMAO! :rotfl:

Black and white. The more you capture a moment, the less it's usually worth afterwards.

I'd save him, cause then dick cheney would be president
Just imagine... a man like that as head of the country ;)

The joke aside, in answer to the question, I think I would save him. Regardless of what I think of the man and his policies, respect for human life is important (insert your jokes about Bush not being human here...).

I really think I would save just about anybody even the likes of Vladimir Putin. Of current day people, I think Osama bin Laden (or any Al Qaidea high ranking scumbag) would be the only exception I would make.

id go with the colour film.
id also save him. better the devil we know....

i have to disagree with you here.
id have to save him.
my reasons?
well, he is human (disregarding his  politics).
we need him alive for counter intelligence purposes.
just let me and him be locked together in a room for a day or two....
ill either know what theres out there to know, or turn muslim.

Why would I still be using film? Digital all the way; I can then decide to do color or black and white afterwards.

Same here. I prefer to be using a series of 1's an 0's.

It seems to me that colour can be digitally enhanced, or made grayscale afterwards, and that would make it easier to sell the pictures.

Where in the original post did it suggest that saving Bush was an option? :dubious:

Well iw ouldn't take a photo, as I would not want to profit from a man's death. Then again I don't know whether i'd save him or not. It would be quite a good headline though - ANTI-WAR PINKO LIBERAL SAVES BUSH!
