There are plenty of structures worth some attention in these countries, considering they've been deemed national treasures AND UNESCO World Heritage sites. Though it's just a thought, I felt like bringing it up to discuss some potential wonders.
Japan
Kinkakuji - The Golden Pavilion Temple in Kyoto, originally built as the residence for the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, later converted by his son into a Zen Buddhist temple
(Faster construction with Gold, Available if Buddhism is state religion, generates Great Prophet,
with Vassalage or Feudal)
Nikko Toshogu - The Shinto shrine which Tokugawa Ieyasu is interred. This, apart from the Ise Shrine is one of the most frequented by domestic and international tourists.
(
with Despotism or Vassalage, Can train 2 Priests/or 1 Free Priest, generates Great Spy)
Yasukuni Shrine - The infamous, controversial shrine that houses the remains of dead soldiers and war criminals of the Second World War
(Less War
in city,
with Fascism or Divine Cult,
with Liberalism, Pacifism, Generates Great Spy or Prophet?)
Kasuga Taisha - The Kasuga Grand Shrine, built in the Heian Period (A.D. 794-1185) as the shrine of the powerful Fujiwara clan. Edicts and messages would be relayed to the gods (kami) by order of the emperor
(
with Nobility, Can train 2 Priests or Nobles)
I would like to hear any thoughts or opinions, I'll cover Korean in my next post. One can find further details and pictures from Wikipedia, Google, and so forth
