More Civilisations

Us modders are busy people - as well as working on about three projects at once, I have to juggle being a moderator, university applications and a job. What little time we have for modding, we usually prefer to spend on our own mods instead of making mods for other people, and you should respect that instead of automatically assuming that we can't be bothered modding for you. Like Homusubi said, it's fairly easy to learn how to mod, and there are several tutorials on how to make a civilization in the Modding Tutorials and Reference section of the forum, so I'd suggest you try there. While we may not be willing to make the mod for you, we're usually more than willing to help someone learning to mod when they run into issues

Love the icon!

However, what happened to the extra strength for more citizens idea? Would've fit the whole conscript thing a bit more, not to mention it being quite unique.

I'd need a significant amount of statistics for that (I only have Viregel's). Also, I disliked how it seemed like a variant of the Condottiere's ability (only difference being that relied of GPT), finally I think this has better synergy with Burma's playstyle.

I'm willing to change it back of course; if that's what people want.

Ok... I guess ill have to find some time between the musical school and regular school for anther - modding school

Do what you want, I won't mind regardless; if you need statistics, I can get you statistics, although they will be from lower (Prince/King) difficulties.

That's probably what's needed. What's OP on Prince could be awful on Emperor. However, I kind of like statistics, so I may be tempted to give it a try on all difficulties and see what happens.

@Tsuchinoko: You did say something important in that guess.

Progress report!

So this is Burma's leader; Anawrahta. The leaderscreen was of course done by the brilliant Leugi and the icon by yours truly!

At the moment Burma is going through some testing, and I should be able to release it sometime this week!

Looks excellent! What colours will they be using?

This is all subject to further balancing of course:

UA: Yama Zatdaw, Receive (100 on Standard) Great Writer Points :c5greatperson: (GWP) when a city that Burma has never owned is conquered. Conquered cities provide +2 :c5greatperson: GWP in the :c5capital: Capital or the City which contains the Writer's Guild and produce +2 :c5culture: Culture.

UB: Paya, Unique Burmese Amphitheater replacement. Contains 1 slot for a Great Work of Writing which, when filled, provides +2 :c5gold: Gold. +1 :c5greatperson: Great Person Points towards a Great Writer in the :c5capital: Capital or the city which contains the Writer's Guild. The Paya costs no maintenance and does not require Monuments to be built. (The gold flavor has been buffed slightly as well, so my puppets have been building them before Monuments)

UU: Kyundaw Conscript, unique Swordsman replacement which receives extra :c5strength: Combat Strength (+3) and heals itself (3 HP per turn) while inside or adjacent to cities. Bonuses are doubled adjacent to enemy cities. Only Burma may build it.
The Kyundaw is the most likely to be changed/nerfed if anything is changed. The current values mean that adjacent to enemy cities, the Kyundaw has 20 strength and heals +6 every turn.

However it does require iron, and I don't think the bonus is too much compared to the Battering Ram's +300% against cities or the Siege Tower's +50% against cities for all units within 2 tiles. (Also the AI were doing ridiculously bad until I buffed it to those values, but that could just be bad luck).
