the new civduelzone.com!
I'm working in MS Word XP (or 2000, whatever), and somehow I've got this outlook express look-a-like email bar on top of my document. How do I get rid of it? It's not listed in the "view" menu: if I deselect all options all other menu bars go away, but the email menu remains in view. If I open another document, there's no email bar.

Very annoying!

Did you accidentally click on create a new email? Might be an idea to try clicking on create a new document.

No, I opened an existing document. And there's nothing to be found on "email" in the whole program. It's really working on my nerves.

Your document looks like the attachment below?

If so, do you have the icon that is in the second row, 4th icon in? It is the 'E-Mail' icon. If you don't have that button on your toolbar, you can go to 'Tools', 'Customize'. Then scroll down on a little bit while in the 'File' Category. Add it to your toolbar. Then close the customize screen and click the new button. It should make it go away.
