Kleptocratica surprise attacks the 501st with the full force of its army. With all armies off on expansion, nothing can defend the 501st.
The Kleptocratic fleet invades, but finds itself under fire from the 501st fleet.
The fleet is sunk after a heroic battle, but it sinks one enemy fleet and kills one enemy army.
2 partially-trained regiments also oppose the enemy. Partial regiments can only defend the capital region from assault and carry a penalty of fighting at half-tech.
8 provinces are taken and the 2 armies are vaporised; they kill 1 Kleptocratic army. The capital is able to hold out, preventing a catastrophic reversal of fortunes. 2.239 million people are captured and of them 224,000 are killed. 30 Industry points are gained due to the rich infrastructure of the 501st.

We're not after you, we're after the 501st and their dangerous fiscal policies that put lots of people in jeopardy. They have no tax rate, which allows them to build up a massive industry, the likes of which the world has never seen. Just what do you think they were going to do with their newfound superpower status? Dance around a campfire and sing Negro spiritual songs from the 1930s?

Somalia is a ridiculous farce and is too foolish to have deigns on world domination. The 501st is modeled after Stormtroopers, an elite and deadly army of fictional soldiers from the 20th century, while Somalia just wants to not have taxes. Which one is more dangerous?
Furthermore, the lack of taxation increases industry in the 501st. Blockading it may impact industry, but it's hardly effective against an industrial machine like the 501st, especially when only one country "strikes" in such a manner. This was the only way.

In order to provide humanitarian relief for Partitionanian citizens, Parliament has recently approved deployment of an aid convoy to the Baltic coast. Due to the ground situation, the escort is under orders to repel aggressive action with lethal force; furthermore, any attack made on our civilian and/or military personnel will be regarded as an act of war against Airstrip One.
The Empire of West Germany, with the permission of Partitionania, has dispatched a peacekeeping and relief force to aid the evacuation of non-combatants from frontline territories. We expect all parties to abide by the neutrality of this unit. Failure to do so will be interpreted as a declaration of war.
