Sahara Orders
(Note: I can't be bothered to spend 30 minutes on a map, just expand me onto the coast)

Diplomat:
Hello, people of the Hasuan Republic. Recently, the government has decided to send a group of scholars to the technological expo in the Crusader States (that's what it is, right?) In other news, we wish to discuss about our official stance on other countries making imperialistic designs on countries in our area (read: clienting the countries directly around me.) Don't do it. No seriously, don't. Our specially trained corps of Better Life Speakers will hammer you with cruel words and slicing arguments that will turn you into a true wreck of guilt. In other news, we wish to continue our denou - wait, what was that?

Orders: (note: rounded up gold from 111.7818293933 to 112 to save me headaches)
30 into purchase from USSR (if he changed his mind, shift this into industry)
67 into industry (60 percent)
15 into espionage (how much does this net me in terms of spies?)
Drop taxes to 18%

The f- I'm sorry, it appears I have something to deal with.

2 minutes later

Yeah, like I was saying... um... it appears the Kingdom has secretly taken quite a bit from the coffers in an attempt to purchase Soviet military tech. What the actual ****. If you don't mind me, I kinda need to leave for damage control, thank you everyone, our words are now backed with incredible tech, bye!d

((by the way- do corp abliltities come into play when they're purchased, or on the next turn? Cause that would really blow.

There was no technological expo. Tyo went isolationist.

Corporate powers come into effect the turn they are purchased. The contract is renewed each turn automatically but can be cancelled / refunded as desired.

With the Brazil/peruvian alliance, the USSR asks if they want to join the diamond coalition.

Same for Prussia.

Out of curiosity how many people left to turn in orders?

Somewhere in the dilapidated docks of St. Petersburg..

Work crews were scrambling and shuffling about. The decayed wood planks of the dry docks and piers were being removed with heavy machinery, and temporary dams were being constructed.

Concrete piers and drydocks were being poured, and metal rods made up the frames of what would soon be buildings and dams.

An old man, with his younger son, sat on an old pier gazing into the deep ocean.

"Father, what is all this stuff about? What's going on?"

The old man let out a burly laugh.

"They used to have a saying. Two men walk into a bar. One is a janitor, and he is despairing over the failure his life has become. He leans over and talks to the other man. 'I swear, being a janitor is the worst job in the world. I rather clean boots with my tongue. What are you here for?'

The other answered, and said, 'My life is a disappointment too. I'm the Grand-Admiral of the Soviet Union...'"

The boy laughed at the cheesy joke. It was true: the USSR didn't actually posses a navy.

They watched the workers move about, and pondered. A young man clad in a new, blue and red uniform came up to them.

"Under orders from the Premier himself, the United Peoples' Navy is to replace all outdated docks."

He glanced at the one they were currently sitting on, and pointed at it.

"We understand sir."

With that, the two left for home and the naval officer returned to his post.

The USSR was getting ships!

*pfffft*

The "real" players don't!

Most "real" players also tend to play the same nations over & over again. If you know that Angola is in the game, & that Mosher is in the game, but haven't been paying attention to who is who, it would usually be safe to assume that Mosher is Angola. There is no such easy connection between, say, Jar Jar Binks & North-Central India, however.

I resent that stereotype.

I have received orders from Mosher.

Orders locked.

The exception to this is Sonereal, for 2 hours; this is in case he had anything he forgot to PM me.

This near-universal lock is to let me get to work. :p

Obviously anything sensitive won't be told until the end of the 2 hours.

I sent in orders. My internet was botched all day yesterday.

What is the above post about ''Destroy Christos200!!''? Could anyone care to explain me?

On that note, considering driving Thorvald crazy and turning over the Chinese NPCs to him. Philanthropy is guarding against any possible bias, not to mention that clientisation can be used to secure the NPCs' loyalty.

I think we're far enough in we don't need to worry about all the NPCs burning effigies of King George and then joining a massive super alliance to eat the Empire of China.

The time has come, to destroy christos200!

Is it me or all Chinese NPC's along with the Union declared war on me?

Hey, whoa, no, I've got 13 new countries to cover! You hold your horse!

I already put in orders for all the NPCs! Wait until next turn my friend. :p

Sonereal has gotten his orders in, so we shall now proceed.

To come:

-Kleptocratic invasion of 501st

-Battle of the Baltic Sea

-Various smaller-scale roflstomps

Is it me or all Chinese NPC's along with the Union declared war on me?

I'm fairly certain he was being sarcastic.

I didn't know Kane controlled all of NPC China.

Which he doesn't.
