The Mitt Romney Stimulus Fund

"Fellow nations, allies of Romnesia and friends to democracy and freedom, I have good news. I, Mitt Romney, have just signed a bill that will go into action within a month. This bill will provide an economic boost to varying second and third world nations aligned with Romnesia. It is time that we move forward and put the conflicts of the past behind us. The Republic will solidify itself in the Coast of Guinea, stretching from its furthest claimed provinces and colonizing all land inbetween. Our nation may seem fractured, but in a few years it will stand as the solid beacon of hope it has been for decades.

Nations that wish to apply for this stimulus plan may do so in the upcoming meeting, designated in recently-liberated Romnopolis. We are hard at work reparing the damage the vicious Namibians caused, and we ask that each citizen of the Republic do his best to find any residual traces of Communist traitors and spies in our ranks. May we purge our country and restore order, peace, tranquility, free trade, freedom, and democracy.

To the Principality of Mann,

These are the terms of your surrender. You are at a clear production, manpower, and land disadvantage that cannot possibly be made up for without divine intervention. There is no point in continuing your struggle.

-The complete surrender of all Welsh, English, and Australian territory under Manx control. Iceland and Greenland will be returned to their rightful owners, and Newfoundland will become an Independent Republic until a use can be found for it.

-The Manx "royal" family will step down from their position as leaders of Mann.

The Holy See reminds the Imperium of Mann that one can only be secured of his salvation after his personal judgement and that each individual in this life must "work out his salvation with fear and trembling". That said we do agree that if the United Kingdom is willing, for the love of God and his Holy Catholic Church, that a white peace would be ideal, serving to ensure both nations can prepare adequately for the tribulations looming in the years ahead. It saddens the Holy See greatly to see two ostensibly Catholic nations fighting in a war whose reasons seem to be lost to both parties involved.

This is an... unexpected request from the Imperium of Mann.

It would be correct to say that should we accept your request to become a client of the Holy See that any attack after that acceptance would count as a declaration of war on the Papal States and all its associates via patron-client relations and formal defensive pacts. In short if we accept the old wars between the Imperium and its enemies would cease unless your nations adversaries decided to renew the war and declare on us insodoing. Something which of course would be contrary to those nations ostensible interest in peace in our time.

The Papal States will consider your request and respond formally to it at a later time.

Japan is disgusted to discover that Romney has once again enforced a blockade of the Gulf of Guinea on neutral land and demands that it be removed lest Romney desires to find the Japanese navy at his gates.

Also, Japan would like to settle the Karafuto issue with Hyontou once and for all on the table of the meeting room.
