Antony McChekhov watched silently as the princess approached the entrance to the facility. Despite it's high-security nature, he'd spent the last week doing additional security checks to ensure that all went well with this visit. The safety of the Royal Heir was of utmost priority, and it was McChekhov to whom the task had been entrusted.
The door to the facility swung open as the princess reached it, and McCheckov fell in beside her to begin the grand tour. He wasn't sure that the JUNIL weapons facility was exactly the sort of thing the princess would find enjoyable, but, as was seen from his own presence there, duty was a harsh mistress. The entrance hall was suprisingly large compared to the small doorway, and McChekhov found himself stalled within it for several minutes as the staff turned out a mildly ceremonious greeting for the arriving member of the royal family.
The next several hours were almost a blur to Antony, filled with the low drone of the head engineers explainations of just about anything that crossed his mind. The tour only served to reinforce McChekhovs belief that the whole thing was a waste of time; the princess would likely never remember, and certainly never care about, most of what she was being told, and was probably just eating it up for the sake of appearances.
Not that he was supposed to be thinking things like that of course. Antony was a good government employee, he would never have dared to voice the idea that they were wasting time within earshot of royalty. Which made it all the more of a suprise to him when the tour finally ended, and the Princess commented quietly on the tedium of the whole thing. He wasn't sure what to say to that.

The Holy See has decided to accept the clientage of the Imperium of Mann, on the proviso that it cedes its remaining four provinces on the Isle of Britain to the United Kingdom. It is our opinion that this sacrifice on the part of the Imperium of Mann will ensure a lasting peace in the isles and spare a much greater tribulation for the manx people than the situation that the war continues unabated due to the United Kingdoms fervent desire to unify Britain under its rule.
If the United Kingdom and the Imperium are willing to accept this, than the Manx shall have our patronage with all the consequences aforementioned for nations attacking it being applied. In this knowledge therefore we would also urge all parties currently embargoing the imperium to cease to do so, upon the eventuality of clientage occuring in order that the good relations that exist between the Holy See and all other powers remain unmarred. We would also urge the manx and the Netherscots to engage in dialogue regarding the possibilty of a bilateral non-aggression pact between the two nations in the years ahead as a sign of goodwill between the two nations once tensions have died down.

I don't see why not. Things look promising for the Republic. Our coast is safe, our lands have been restored. Investment doesn't necessarily need to dwindle over war.

We are claiming all of our coast this turn. The blockade includes all Romnesian territory. We haven't cut out other African states. The blockade stretches from the west side of Romnesia to the East.
Its purpose is to prevent Namibian soldiers from landing and claiming our land, or sending more troops to attack us. If you, or anyone, attempts to diffuse the blockade, you will be assisting Namibia in their war effort against us, and will cause more lives to be lost.
OOC: Joank, if you want to interfere in events outside your remote influence (halfway across the world), I'll start interfering with your stuff. And you won't like it.

I am curious as to why Romney blockades itself and neutral territory to prevent another nation from landing troops in said territory instead of blockading said nation. Your actions are not only suspicious but counter-intuitive and nonsensical. Once again we demand that you lift the blockade of West Africa. If you with to blockade Namibia it is your right, being as you are in a state of war, to do so.

There are 28 neutral territories in Guinea. That is enough to make Romnesia the world's largest nation and thus, the largest supplier of resources and economic vitality.

Official Statement:
Once Namibian lands are removed from near Romnopolis, we will lift the blockade. We cannot lift it currently, or that will only allow more forces and lives to be lost. We will however, lift it once the Dirty Commies are dealt with.
