Cathisis: Oh wait I forgot we are embargoing you. We will come to your birthday parties if and only if you end the blockade of Romnesia. Until you do that, we will not come to them and we will not invite you to our Birthday Parties.

Yoshi: But we don't invite important foreigners to our Birthday parties. We usually sit around the meeting room playing Team Fortress 2.

Cathisis: It still works.

To the Spammers

Just because we may hace a... disagreement over Romney, it does not mean we should not meet up like this.

Remember: we legalised spam for you. If you wish it to remain legal consider impressing the Emperor of Man.

See you at the event... hopefully.

Thomas Abelson

OOC: I will do the birthday even soon.

Japan will not send any representatives. We're rebuilding the country and there's plenty of work for everybody. Too much to actually be able to attend parties outside the country.

Dear El Presidente Penultimo

The young Emperor Magnus of Man, who will soon have his 16th birthday which will signal his coming of age, has a request for extra sugar for the event. We wish to increase the trade between our nations, especilly as in return we will supply you uranium to allow you to set up a nuclear power station.

In relative news we invite you and all sovereigns of the world to attend the 16th birthday of Magnus and Denel. If one cannot come to the event then send a represenative. This event will signal their coming of age, with my job as Regent to Emperor Magnus coming to a end as he takes total rule of our great empire. He will then set in motion is marriage plans with his wife to be.

We hope you consider our considerations.

Lord Mayor Thomas Abelson of Liverpool, Regent to the Emperor Magnus

Tropico

President Penultimo is always eager to expand trade. Some of the finest sugar has been obtained by the state, and shall be given to the Emperor's caterers as a gift.

Enerjak - Granada

As allies of the Imperium, we shall of course send a representative, since apparently my armor and long tentacle-dreadlocks scare small children and people in general.

His Royal Highness, Edward X, shall be attending the coming-of-age ceremonies of The new Emperor and his brother, the kings future son-in-law. Many of his family shall also be in attendance, most notably the young Princess Elizabeth, along with her brother Prince Edward and the Queen Alexandria. We are certain that the evening will be most entertaining for all, despite the current tense situation in which Manx is involved.

-----

Fiona sighed quietly, listening to the loud complaints of her siblings. She sat, almost picture perfect, in an armchair within the palace, suffering through the royal family's response to the trip to the Manx Imperium. It wasn't the sort of scene she would have liked to see associated with the monarchy, and was particularly glad that her father had decided to tell them about it in private.

"But how come Edward gets to go???" Gerani seemed to be feeling more slighted than angry he wasnt on the trip. Of course, Gerani had been maturing, to an extent, recently. Although second in line to the throne, he had always had a knack for staying somewhat out of the public eye, so Fiona couldn't rely on the media to tell her what it was that had changed him so much since his recent trip to near-depopulated Hawaii.

"Because," the king informed the pair in a patient tone "your brother can maintain a little more restraint than certain other members of our family."

"I can be restrained!" Objected Mary, although Fiona would tend to disagree. Her sister had a knack for finding alcohol and consuming it in a suprising quantity whenever she was left alone in a situation that might be vaugely described as 'a party'.

"You would find it rather boring to be restrained in the Manx Imperium." King Edward told her "Seeing as this is primarily the sort of formal event that you have spent so much of your time trying to avoid. What parts of it are not formal diplomacy are the sorts in which you would find it hard to maintain your commitment to restraint."

"But..."

"The matter is sealed." Fiona was somewhat startled to hear her father using such a stern tone, although she had to admitt that she was happy to see the arguement ending. "Your Mother and I, along with Edward and Elizabeth, shall be travelling to Manx. The rest of you will remain here, with Fiona taking my place should a royal presence become neccesary for anything."

The children nodded, some sullen at being left behind, some eager to be going, and one simply happy that the yelling was over. Fiona got enough of that keeping up with the politicians.

Narvarro

Two new reactor-breeder hybrid reactors have been built in the Californian region in Solitude's new settlement near. Most noteabllaly the three reactor complex in Navarro, soon to be coined the Navarro Nuclear Power complex. The engineers at Navarro have set up design plans for the next generation of nuclear hybrid reactor-breeder designs that submerges the reactor core under water and have set up plans to construct the second generation of Reactor-Breeder hybrids in New Reno within the next years.

Mayacamas Mountains, The Geysers

About 72 miles north of San Francisco, the Solitude Rangers have discovered an abandoned geothermal complex located in the Mayacamas Mountains. It's speculated that the remoteness of the facility on the mountains have left it untouched and unnoticed by the previous civilization that was present in the area, the Hawaiians. Engineers from the Republic has set out to restore The Geysers to full working order and add to the power grid in the Southwestern region along with the Navarro Nuclear Power Complex and future restored power plants. The Geysers marks the first Geothermal Power Plant within Solitude.

Solitude Congressional Building, Solitude

In a joint session of Congress, President Hanna Antillies made a speech on the Religious Freedom Restoration Bill. She stood next to the Senate President and the Speaker of the House. "Just a few months ago, I took a trip to the Cathedral ruins of St. Joseph after the Coronation of Emperor Magnus Flanagan to reflect on the question of the freedom of religion in this nation. Many of you know that during the race for the General Secretariat, the government openly stated that there doctrine was incomparable with our ideology and policies. As a result left a rift between the Republic and the Holy See, which further grew apathy towards the Catholic denomination. Apathy that grew from circulating myths within the vaults."

"I've attended my first Mass that was first celebrated in the ruins of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, which gave me a look at inside the practices of the Catholic religion. I've found that it doesn't conflict with any of our ideologies and policies. Instead, I found that our own idea of the Catholic doctrine being incompatible with our own ideologies and policies, which goes against the First Amendment of the Constitution which guarantees the freedom of religion. Instead, we've taken steps to ensure complete separation of church and state by making our politicians leave their religious beliefs at the doorstep."

Hanna raises the paper that contains the bill that she is proposing to be passed in the legislature "This bill, that I am proposing to the floor of congress, sets the course for the government to ease up on restriction of religious beliefs of governmental officials. It also adds in the provision that it also lifts restriction on religious beliefs and expression in public life." Hanna takes a deep breath and scans the seats of congress, each filled with representatives from the upper and lower house "I will be the first Solitudian to confess that I'm a Non-Denominational Christian. I'm sure many of you want to confess your own faiths but were afraid to do so because of our hardline stance on separation of church and state." The senators and representatives look at one another, then one by one, each stood up stating their belief, some stating they belong to a particular denomination of Christianity such as Protestants or Catholics, some expressed a non-alignment position of Christianity (Non-Denominational). Even Jewish politicians stood up to state their beliefs as well as some Mahayana Buddhists and some who don't hold a belief.

The bill itself was passed unanimously in both the House and the Senate and eventually made it to Hanna's office a week later. She immediately signed it into law thus making the bill into an act. The Supreme Court observed the process and declared that the law in itself, does not contradict nor conflicts with the Constitution in anyway. Chief Justice Kennith Otis stated "The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 2503, grants the freedom of worship and beliefs to all Solitudian citizens. The law itself lifts the restriction for government officials and citizens to leave their beliefs at the door. I have held council with my fellow justices and agreed this law is constitutional. I applaud President Hanna Antilles for taking the initiative to place forward a bill that restores civil liberties to the religious while not favoring one religion over another."

Solitude White House

President Hanna Antilles was relaxing in the Green Room of the Solitude White House. She has been reading the party adnouncement sent from the Imperium of Man and have been pondering to attend the birthday celebration of Magnus and Denel. Hanna thought to herself "What business does a Republic have attending a party that has a majority of monarchs and sovereigns?" Hanna stood up and walked to the windows of the Green Room and pondered on. She then calls her secretary to have a fine cut of Amethyst from the mines of California to be sent to the Imperium of Man as a gift on behalf of the Republic to the new Monarch.

Hanna wrote to Lord Mayor Thomas Abelson of Liverpool "While we're a representative republic with no royal family, I've decided on behalf of the Republic of Solitude to present you a gift of a large fine cut amethyst gemstone from the mines of California. We hope that relations between Solitude and the Imperium of Man continues to improve. As President of Solitude, I'd like to request to be present to the party celebration."

Cathisis: Okay, we're announcing this to the world. All nations that are involved in a blockade against Romnesia, disband the blockade or we will disband it for you with our and Byzantine's ships. And trust me, that wouldn't be pretty.

@Manx: We will attend your party once this blockading buiness is over. It's a nasty nasty buiness, don't you agree?

The Imperial Palace had a great banquet hall but the party of the birthdays of the Emperor and the Imperial Heir was held in a greater venue: they were to feast in the Hamoun II Hall of Celebration, a great big banquet hall located in Port Erin, much of the structure underground so that diners could go out and watch the view. Inside it was a great, big room with paintings on top of Manx history, from its status as a society that met in peace with the Vikings to have them and the natives of the isle join together to forge what would be the Manx, to the admitted rule by foreign influences especially under Scottish rule, with its influence under English law. There is scene of the 7th Earl of Derby’s execution, along with William Christian, also known as Illiam Dhone, surrender of the isle to Commonwealth forces in the English Civil War. The restoration of the Earl of Derby with Dhone’s execution is noted. The hightlifhts of the maritime history is noted, with the status of the isle as a tourist attraction from the 19th to the 20th century noted too, along with the status of the isle as an place for internment camps for Germans in the two world wars. The history of its finance, of the fall of the House of Keys, the rise of Urman Kinrade and his creation of the Imperium which would begin as a empire in name only… all was covered, to the coronation of Hamoun II, the pre-ultimate Kinrade emperor before his successor’s and his democratic opposition’s fall to the then Duke of Ulster, John Flanagon. The Flanagon family had decided to place their history in portraits along the great banquet hall, having placed the scenic landscape paintings commissioned by the Kinrades into the Imperial Palace.

The tables were set in traditional feudal notion: rank was issue here, as the head of the table where the Emperor of Man sat was opposite of the lower gentry. Nicolas Gell, having been arrested for his comments against the Pope’s demotion of him, had been released to be shipped to a monastery, his dinning at the opposite end of Mangus as a sign of the former regent’s crime, his dining as a bit of mercy and a demonstration of retribution. Before the primal end where all the key players of the Imperium and its ruler sat was seated the places the sovereigns and representatives attending sat. The Imperium decided to ignore the Spammer’s threats, deciding instead that if they did somehow attend after their daring stance against the Imperium there was 3 vacant seats… not too far from Nicolas Gell. The royal family of New Zealand where the most nearest to the highest of the Manx nobility. Magnus Flanagon, with his brother Denel on his right and the Lord Mayor Thomas Abelson on his left, took into a spiced up pheasant.

Desert was to be made greatly from the Tropican sugar set for the feast but that the Regent, on his last day in his job as guider of the young leader, rose up. He would earn the position of Chief Imperial Advisor in the still absence of the Baron of Rushan, who seat was left empty as a sign of respect despite of the rumours speeded by many of the nobility about “connections to Gilmore’s doom.” As the Regent stood tall he announced to all in the room:

“Mercy be as we feast in honour of the great Magnus Flanagon and Denel Flanagon. Both Emperor of Man and his Imperial Heir plus twin brother are to be of age today, meaning alas I am no longer to be Magnus’s Regent. I am but a ‘humble’ Chief Imperial Advisor now has was declared by His Imperial Majesty this morning. In service of Mann, of the Emperor and of God I have done my duty well. I declare even in war we of the Imperium are jolly. We are ever enjoying the will of our wealth and seek to expand our wealth for the new generation of empire. Let not the war against heresy divert you from the peaceful side of the Imperium of Man, whose primal aim to ensure order is of virtue to the name of the Lord. Yet we face opposition true but so did other forces of the Lord in the past. Now we stand in humble earnest to the Lord, as well to the Emperor of Man and the Imperial Heir, whose feast here symbolises the blessing of their 16 years in the world. Long life the Emperor and his brother! May the Imperial Twins continue to bless the generations of Mann!”

Cheer came as the former Regent to be sat down. It was the turn of Denel, the Imperial Heir who be dressed in a violet officer uniform, to rise and speak out his mind:

“Peoples of the Imperium and of the God made world that the Imperium is but a humble part of. I am here today in honour of the birth of my brother and in notion of my birth. I am most joyed at the attendance here, especially from the sovereigns and their representatives from foreign lands. I especially am most pleased to see the royal family of New Zealand’s, whose daughter I will marry in 2 years’ time as be planned. I am most greatful for all the honour of you all. May the Imperium, its allies, I, my brother the Emperor of Man and God be ever blessed this day! Glory and piety to the Imperium!”

Cheer came once again. Silence though came as when Denel sat Magnus stood up, his jade military outfit shined well. The Emperor looked around that the many faces, ignoring the small sight of Nicolas Gell on the other side of the table. The Emperor of Man spoke:

“Like my brother I declare you all most welcomed of figures. I, an emperor of a great empire, am humbled by your presence. The glory and piety of God is ever within our communion today. We feast on the fine produce of a mere member of Christendom. I am grateful for my twin brother, who has been my comrade since the day of our birth. I am greatful to my siblings, who have helped shaped who I am. I am grateful to my parents, my mother who helped guide me and my father who spread the Imperium across the waters to the likes of Australia. I am grateful to Lonan Nelson, whose absence in the Imperium is a sad note, for he made me and my brother into worthy figures to sit at our seats. We are greatful to Pius XXV who has crowned me. I am grateful to the Order of Soveriengs my father set up for its union. I am grateful to Nambia who we fight alongside against the heresy. I am grateful to Urman Kinrade who founded the Imperium of Man. I am grateful to John Flanagon who allowed my family to rule the Isle of Man and turn it into a true empire. I am grateful to William Flanagon who allowed us our power in the British Isles. I am thankful to Jack O’Neil and other industrial figures for helping generate the wealth of the Imperium. I am grateful to the international co-operation to find the killer who murdered my father. I am grateful to those who we trade with. I am thankful to the loyal people of the Imperium who follow the willing blessing of order. I give my honors to the Lord for allowing me to be grateful to those I have thanked. May my full rule be just on penalty of divine retribution. Let us continue this blessed day: the day I and Denel came to be! Thank you for today! Glory this be as it comes to be history and helps us shape the future! Glory to God and the Imperium of Man which I rule with moral consideration!”

…and so cheers came, some peoples in tears of joy. The feast continued with deserts most fine. The Emperor and his twin brother were 16 of age. They had grown up in the eyes of the Imperium.

…the Emperor Magnus of Man was ready to lead the nation fully in the crisis the Imperium was in.

Assuming our most serene world does not explode into a flaming ball of gas later today (since it's the 21st in some areas already), I would like to lock orders in 48 hours or so.
