-Human and non-human tensions, with the Golden Horde, China-Japan and Crimson Court on the former side and the Leth, Hummel and 501st Legion on the other.

-Union of Nations is a joke as usual.

-Cape Verde invaded Ashanti and is now locked in brutal combat with half of Africa.

-South America's slowly being unified beneath Argentina.

-Hummel leads the world in population growth and is expected to become a leading power in the coming turns.

-Norway invaded Sweden and now there's a huge Cold War between Norway and the Combined Syndicates (centered on Chicago).

-Golden Horde invaded India and now is fighting the 501st Legion.

This is only turn 3 so not much has transpired.

They didn't ask for anything. We offered our help, then "New America" offered theirs with a heavy anti-socialist rhetoric that was obviously opposed to the Combined syndicates along with a lie saying how we are trying to force the UKA into changing the government when literally all we did was ask. It's obvious all they are trying to do is convince another one of our allies to turn against us using capital.

It should also be noted while we have yet to declare war on a single country, your ally Iceland is invading the rest of Scandinavia. And you brand us warmongerers for taking aggressive diplomatic actions of a country who has shown nothing but disrespect and aggression towards our own country and ideology. 1. the current leader is deposed by Pro-Royalty forces, and have installed Emperor Basil III, of the Angelos Dynasty. the Government will be a Constitutional Monarchy.

The door to Zoe's cell opened. Jacob stepped halfway inside. "Come. The Revolution is nigh."

Zoe stood up wordlessly and crossed the room toward him. Suddenly, she tripped on the lunch tray. Jacob caught her. "My Lady, you must watch your step." He admonished.

"Just get on with it." Zoe snapped harshly.

"As you wish." Jacob responded with false humility. "Follow me." He turned and left the cell.

Zoe followed, cold metal of her lunch knife warming within her bra.

In retrospect, it wasn't so surprising they'd come for her today. Yesterday, Jacob had brought a pink ankle-length dress with blue trim and expensive diamond shoes. So clearly, her captors wanted her to seem regal. Pink and blue. Formiddan colors. She realized. Who the hell thought up diamond shoes? These hurt like-

Her train of thought was abruptly interrupted as a megaspider joined their little convoy. It loped with an uneasy grace as other individuals arrived out of side passages. Nine. We've got me, the monster, the accountant, the gay guy... Where's little miss psychopath? Zoe wondered, burn twinging at the thought.

Up many winding staircases they climbed, past dozens of saluting men and women in deep blue uniforms. Jacob then opened a door onto a balcony. The nine of them- Ten counting Jacob. Ten counting Jacob crowded out to the balcony.

Zoe couldn't contain a gasp as she looked out from the balcony. She was standing on a high tower constructed on the deck of a seaborne Carrier - nearly two kilometers long and two hundred wide, if the cargo zeppelin lifting off from the flight deck was any indication. Dozens of aircraft were being taxied and dragged from beneath the zeppelin towards elevators leading into the warship's hull. Sixteen dual-barreled turrets lined the vessel's sides. Six missile turrets adorned the mammoth Carrier's decks.

Out in the harbor of Formidda, two seaborne destroyers waited for their charge to join them. Above her, and around the area, two carrier zeppelins and a flotilla of thirteen zeppelin destroyers hung in the ether.

Her attention fell upon the two men standing on the balcony. A nervous-looking youth and a crusty old bearded man. The bearded man wore a pure white uniform with a patch of a pink background with a blue star.

"This is madness." Zoe whispered. "Another Carrier."

"Madness?" The old man spoke up. "Let me tell you about madness. Madness is when three cities found colonies, and so they own them forever. Madness is when one man rules a nation because three people say he should. Madness is when my pappy and my grandpappy were excised from history books because my great-grandpappy did the right thing forty years ago."

"Deus." Zoe gasped. "He was the captain-"

Harkness leaned in close. "Of the first Carrier. Now you hush your pretty little face." He reached to his collar and thumbed a microphone.

We have on our side an Amatyi - kill the Dictator, and the Amatyi he travels with, and the Triple Alliance will have no choice but to accept our Amatyi as ruler."

Zoe blinked. Well that's stupid of them. Both of them. If these people think they can control me... She thought.

"The regime will be brought to heel, they will pay for their sins - the foremost being greed. Then we shall have a new government, and a new way of life - we shall be Madagascar, and each shall provide according to his abilities and receive according to his needs. Forty years ago, they trembled at the sound of our rockets. Now, they will tremble at the splash of our waters.

So wait, Dictator. Wait for the end."

At that, "Harkness" fired a revolver into the air. The Carrier groaned, and then slowly slid into the sea to the sound of cheers. The vessel bobbed for a moment, then began to make its way out of the port.

Harkness turned to the group.

A flamboyantly dressed man spoke up. "Santiago believes that was brilliant! Now it only remains to be seen if Angela and our spider friends can do their part."

The Megaspider, in a voice which could drive a sane man mad, issued "Never before have six of my kin acted in unison - they will not survive. Worry about your part, human."

Santiago blinked. "My part is perfect! Santiago is all of you fashionably challenged freaks assistance to be relevant. Who else could have invented diamond shoes or found the perfect dress to compliment our Amatyi?" He sputtered angrily.

Zoe turned towards him. "You!" She shouted angrily as she stepped towards him. "You invented these god damn shoes!" She threw a right hook at Santiago, but he dodged and kicked her legs out from under her, depositing Zoe on the ground.

"Santiago believes you should get some boots before you try to throw your weight around, woman." He muttered.

"As intolerable as Santiago is." A balding man who looked like an accountant spoke up. "He is correct. You are a prisoner - once you sign over power to us after we kill the Dictator and Kinman Doumont, you may go lead a normal life - unless we decide to kill you for trouble caused." He added maliciously.

Zoe bit her lip and got back up.

The Spartakiad
The Combined Syndicates would like to announce the Sixth Annual Spartakiad!
The Spartakiad has been dead for centuries, but this year Chicago has announced that it is preparing for the revival of this Olympics for the Workers!

The Games will include various different sports and challenges from all reaches of the globe. As the Spartakiad is intended to boost socialist pride, we will have to review all admissions. Every government can participate so long as they have a recognized socialist group to send to the Spartakiad; differences in ideology in a large crowd can become violent. All nations are urged to send an application to Chicago for review(PM), especially countries that pride themselves as socialist.

It has been brought to our attention that your nations subscribe to the Icelandic currency. We in tern wish to bring to your attention why you might want to abandon it, and repossess Icelandic assets or distribute it to a more trustworthy power. Of course you all know of the war in the north. This conflict was brought about entirely due to Iceland's greed. Iceland held a lot of influence in Sweden; they were very close nations prior to the recent war. However, Iceland had issued an ultimatum to Sweden: annexation. The Swedes decided they did not wish to live directly under the King's thumb, and respectfully declined. In response, Iceland ordered the Invasion of Sweden to commence.

Learn from this, my brothers in Europe. The Icelandic assets in your nations are only assets to Iceland and a complete liability to you. If the King won't take into consideration close ties with cultural brothers when contemplating war, a completely unjust war at that, he won't take similar considerations when thinking about your nations. Both Finland and Sweden agree, and Finland wasn't even attacked so to see it. Distance yourselves from Iceland, else you end up in a similar situation to Sweden. This is not a threat, just a warning. We cannot choose for your nations, but we beg you heed it.
