Granted it just leave open other possibilities but still the intelligence targeting nature of the post does have the... underlying tones to it.
Forums tend not be a good place to tell people to mind ones own business, especially thanks to the existence of PM and VM for private talking as I have observed (partly through my own experiences) time to time again. We can all see it and you should apologise to Sone.

OOC: the accusations were linked to... past considerations, especially to one of your quote sigs you had in the past. However the case is now leading out of notion... I admit it did feed mistrust on how one would handle it, although now you claiming you are leading a different political style... although a different name would be recommendation but alas the main issue now is apologising to Sone.

Since the time you joined, you have always been against me for one reason or other and always insulted me about being bad in RP or racist or something else. It seems you have a strong antipathy against me that I cannot understand. I try not to insult you, but please do not get me to start to insult you, because you really do not know how much I can insult if I get mad.

The first time I was greeted by you (IOT9) involve you threatening to declare war on me for expanding France into the south of France and then when we did end up in war having RP involving genocide of the French in your land. That was my first experience of you!
You have in MP2 used "Turk" as a slur on Thor's China. Why? I also was informed of how you hailed the deaths of Americans by Tani... granted it was on chat I was told this but still... it was a interesting accusation.
As Sone and Tyo noted you have rather questionable diplomatic actions.
As for RP: I will debate on chat.
However what is the case is that there is reasons, logical reasons, to find your accusations that people cannot have good reasons to not trust you to be rich.
There is no conspiracy against you but there is reasons to distrust one who is overly aggressive... in OOC.

Ignoring the bulk of the conversation, my discontent mechanic was critiqued as "forcing my views onto players via their populations."
No... most first world nations (which most of you class as) tend to dislike when a few thousand troops die. It's a miracle there's not more discontent given the deaths of hundreds of thousands here. Wars that go nowhere rapidly turn unpopular, and pretty much all expansionist wars have turned this way in game. Ergo, the populace becomes sick of it and protests. Compare the public reaction to Vietnam (long, drawn out, unprofitable) to the Spanish-American (quick, cheap, extremely profitable). Aggressors likewise have harsher penalties because just like in real life, a defensive conflict tends to enjoy a lot more support than an offensive one (compare Afghanistan to Iraq). If you can conquer a country in a turn... well, more power to you.
If you can't? Congratulations, your people are going to start getting mad real quick; that money used to build bombs could be going towards providing them with healthcare, better education, better roads to drive on, or tax breaks.
I will admit I fudge things a bit by giving defenders a massive advantage. However, I don't care about this, as only warmongers lose in this realm; this game is not built for war and I do not care how many times I am told that I should make war more viable. This is not a war game, nor will it ever be. If you want a war game, there's the door; while I have great power within the game, I am not God and cannot compel you to keep playing.
Now then. I'll get around to the update... eventually. Working on it slowly, trying to continue to care; going away on vacation (plus some bad things that happened on it) has dampened my enthusiasm to keep this one going.
