MWNN Beta Release

Turn 100

Found out (to my releif!) that the game is in fact on a Continent. Phew. I finally managed to build my first coastal cities 98 turns into the game!

I've played it a bit and it's quite good. There's a number of players who prefer to play mods that are essentially tweaks of the "epic" game rather than full-blown mods and this will really suit them.

I found the civilopedia to be very good and I'll be stealing a few entries ;) .

Overall, well done  !!

to those of you who are playing...I have noticed that there are a few things, that without being told, you may never find, and one of them is important...

If you have Oil and Rubber in the same city limits, you can build Ford's Factory, and if you have Ford's Factory, you can build a Modern Tank Works...

Ford's Factory spawns Jeeps...

Modern Tank Works spawns the SMK tank...

hope that some of you find the spot for it...its not very common...sorta like the Iron works...which if you manage to build, allows the Industrial Tank works, which spawns 1918 tanks(tractor tanks)...

Also, once you get to Military Armor...check for Deserts to build Desert Tank Works...and once you get Synthetic Fibers, check for Jungles so you can build Jungle Tank Works...Both of which Spawn Tanks - ARL-44(desert) LeClerc(jungle))

I hate to have to say this, but MWNN final release has been pstponed, because I finally got my Beaver worker and I really wanna finish Narnia...

MWNN is going to be my biggest project ever, so dont worry that there are no more updates, there are, just not for a while...

so, thank you for playing and heres a small list of things Ive fixed since the last release:
Farms reworked, now they require pigs AND cows in city radius...and they DO work, when the food box is full, you gain 2 citizens AND the grainbox only empties half
a few more unit allowing techs added(Guerilla warfare, Laser Weapons)
Egyptian specific units added
More Wonders and Improvements...including Govt specific improvements for Monarchy and Tribal Council(also added Tribal council, and reworked the tech tree)

so please let me know if you are playing the MOD, and any errors that may occur...

This mod looks kind of cool, it doesn't float my boat though.

I do, however, want to see Narnia come out, I always liked that movie.

How have you managed that? Is the farm a wonder?

It all looks cool by the way, and I'll look forward to trying it out sometime.

Thanks to the good people at the SOE forums, I now have hosting again...

Since the last version, I have changed ALOT...added culturally specific units to most of the lines, added culturally specific boats...many new forms of Modern infantry...The Farm works properly (Requires Cattle and Pigs in city limits, and requires a grainary...drastically increases production)...

But the real gem I am proud of, is the Worker evolution...thanks to Plotinus and Wyrm, I believe that this MOD has the most creative use of worker units ever...Both Normal and Slave workers evolve throughout history, and most are culturally specific...

Lastly, I have not included a "Credits" TXT with this version...when I manage to compile it, I will add it to the first post...so if you see your work in there(You probably will) dont think Im not thankful to you and every other member of CFC who takes their time to crank out all this cool stuff...

Hi Spacer one,

I have one question:
The older version was two files with 714MB and 533MB. The new one is one file with 637MB. Is this right? Thanx in advance..

Greetings from Germany..

o/ Germany :) I have many friends over there :)

The older files were Zip format, using WinRAR I got higher compression...it surprised me too, but unless something went horribly wrong, its all in there...

there are a few errors, and you will need a patch as well as the file...

Also I neglected to giv a cost to "Jomon Warrior" and so Polynisian civs have a free warrior...this will be fixed in the patch

HmmI downloaded a new file (about 600mb) and it did not include any unit files but a lot of leaderheads and stuff like that and I got two error messages (using winrar and 7zip).. (unkown file end and some other corrupted file... )
I will try to redownload it and have a loo if it works better...
