My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic

Well, I found a place where I won't get into any trouble for chalking, so here are second and third best ponies, Rarity and Rainbow dash respectively.

[Snip]Better pick of Rarity below[/Snip]

I don't know if the photo is bad, but Rarity looks strangely low-res somehow. Rainbow Dash looks great though.

Fluttershy hasn't come up yet in the theme a day. It will be either her or PP tomorrow and the other one on Saturday.

Or if your referring to my favorites order its
Twilight
Rarity
RD
Fluttershy
AJ
PP

The former, haha.

My order is a bit different:

Fluttershy
Rarity
Twilight
Rainbow Dash
Applejack
Pinkie Pie

You know, your chalk drawings are pretty inspiring. I don't think I ever mentioned that I'm a student illustrator.
If I have any semblance of free time this semester, I think I'll try to upload a pony sketch or vector for everypony to see in this thread.

No you hadn't mentioned it. That's pretty cool. I would love to see some of your sketches/vectors.

I'm just a hobbyist myself. Ponies have inspired me to do quite a bit more drawing than I have in the past.

I'm glad you like my chalk drawings. This is the first time I've ever done anything like them before.

Damn that's a lot of blush of Fluttershy's cheek.

That was an amazing episode.
Spoiler Massive Spoilers and Analysis :
I loved the Salvador Dali animals in the beginning.

I'm still digesting that heavy bit of background they dropped into the episode. So if Celestia and Luna took the throne from Discord, that means that they were not always a god ponies. If this is the case, were they still initially alicorns or were they just an ordinary species of pony to begin with. If there were alicorns initially, then I'm interested in how alicorns come about. If they weren't initially alicorns, I imagine that the elements of harmony made them so.

As they were not always god ponies, it's likely that they didn't control the sun and the moon until they took power from Discord. Actually this would explain the manual changing of the seasons and weather as well. Discord probably empowered the sun, moon, seasons, and weather to go about their natural course and once he was dethroned, the ponies had to take over his duties, though they do it in a much more orderly fashion.

Another interesting thing tidbit was Discord when exclaims both "I don't turn ponies into stone." and "I'd forgotten how grim you can be Celestia." This combined with the fact that she banished her sister to the moon paints as rather iron-hooffed when it comes to ponies looking to dethrone her. I will not deny that Celestia is probably the best choice out of those three, but even so, it paints Celestia as a bit of a tyrant.

Another interesting thing from this episode is that there was the statue of the pony representing victory. If a representation of victory is planting a flag in a fashion usually associated with claiming land in a war, does that mean that at one time Equestria did make war with it's neighbors? I mean they do know about lances and how to use them. They know about tanks, and Rarity was seen wearing a military helmet so I don't think it's way to much of a stretch to imagine Equestria once made war with its neighbors.

That episode was intense. The only thing it needed to top it off was Jigsaw-style traps.

Didn't see episode, but just saying my university is having a brony meetup later today. I'm not attending, but there were posters all over the place.

Fabulous ending...

I love Q as Discord... They're so similar in personality.

those are fantastic thoughts man :)
Spoiler :
Warning, spoilers
Spoiler :
Something that I'm wondering about is that when the ponies turn evil, (or whatever you want to call it), is that Discord causing it or are doing it themsleves? Like, with Rarity, she started clawing at the rock BEFORE she turned grey-ish, but with Fluttershy, Discord had to force magic upon her to turn her evil.

Spoiler :
He hypnotises all of them to act opposite of their element, its just that he gets bored of fluttershy and because fluttershy is kind to a fault, she offers up no resistance.

If your interested, I've been bouncing some more of that analysis off people on ponychan: http://www.ponychan.net/chan/pony/res/35826791.html
It's been quite the discussion.

I haven't seen it yet, sounds like it was fabulous.

What a magical episode! Can't wait for the conclusion.
