Name this cat!

Atilla the Hun!

Or genghis khan!

Pick civ leaders!

Eris...or Bastet. :p

(Bastet is an Egyptian goddess with the head of a cat.)

Clever Perf strikes again.
Hey, you came up with it.

There might be a gender problem though. I'm not sure my wife will approve. I'll get back to you on it.
Yeah, I was thinking about that.

You could always name it Chieftess.

I still think Subi would be the best :p

^^^
That reminds me you could name it Bast after the egyptian godess of cats.

Ramesses. Pharoah of Egypt. And they ancient Egyptians had a thing for cats.

If its a female you could name it hatsupshet (check the spelling) or cleopatra! :D

My wiffe does not play civ. There is little chance of a Civ ruler. But "Chieftess" has a bit of panache to to it. :mischief:

Was bastet mentioned?

It doesnt matter they are real people also.

Genghis khan would be an awesome name for a cat!

First one that came to mind was Martina - in honour of greatest ever female tennis player - same sort of determination in that look.
Second one after staring at the picture, she reminds me Greta Garbo.
Third - just because of fond memories - Disa (I suppose you get the pronounciation closer of I write it Deesa)

How about you just name it kublai without the khan at the end.

Kublai has a nice ring to it.

My girlfriend says that if you give your cat a human name like "Bruno" "Arthur" "Todd" you are going to have a different connexion with your cat, more like a roomate or a close friend.

She knows cat and animal stuff, I always call any animal I own with food names ....... my first fish was called "poulet" (chicken).

In the end I say Call him Bruno

Well IMO greta sounds like a butt ugly name.

Its not any worse then the names ethel, gertrude or bertha. All ugly names.

A little explanation would be a huge help with such esoteric names. :p

Emoen.

Mailar.

Both random fusions of sounds i think sound nice.. tho on second thought Mailar could be a boys name.. guess you have all just found out what my first children will be called ;) lol.

I could make up storys to give them better resonance though if you wish... or even throw out a few more names. I play a lot of roleplaying games, and have developed quite a good ability to make up completely random names...

(appart from the Leaders name... always Abaddon, or Norab)

Garbo is kinda nice, I like it bette r than Greta, but will run them by the wife.
What/who is Disa?

Eris is the Greek name for the god of confusion and mischevious acts. Kind of suits cats.

Your kidding me?

Garbo sounds big and abrupt.. Like the name for some lunkhead.

Give it a name like bastet or godess or cleopatra. Sounds better for a female cat.
