Science Advisor: The Oh Dear's are needed in our ecosystem, but they need to be controlled. Just shooting them is expensive and wasteful. Also, they are rather tasty.. EAT THEM

I just joined. I've been playing NS for a while now, I quite enjoy it, although I tend to spend more time in NSG or the WA forums than on the gameplay side of things.

Ok, hi serek000. Decision made. The first answer, based on democratic decision of advisors and my own unbiased opinion. Next issue comes here:

    Cash for Colons?
Hospitals have requested that they be allowed to pay people for donating blood and other bodily organs, such as kidneys (or even hearth)

    There two answers possible:
1/ we allow it, because ""We remain critically short of blood plasma and various organs", says so Civ Players One hospital administrator Billy O'Bannon.
2/ Not allow it because it is "Great idea, except one thing" says so social commentator Roger Hamilton, and this thing is that "Poor people will be so desperate for money that they'll sell their own kidneys"

I also see two problems, both for 1st and 2nd answer. For 1st there hospitals can sometime run out of cash if unwise hospital director will start to stockpile those expensive organs not looking into actually needs, and then go to bankruptcy.

While 2nd answer, if we would not allow it, hospitals will be in trouble of lack of organs, and also there can be black market in medicine which is not good.

So, what advisors think about it?

WE don't allow it, it might cut into the military budget.

Good point somewhat, until we would eventually privatize health care totally.

    Welcome Aronnax.

    Little update:
The average income tax rate is 33% (+1% but no more higher tax for rich)

    2 hours ago:
Following new legislation in Civ Players, OH Dears are considered a delicacy.

    Current Advisors:
    1. Military Advisor: Darth Caesar
    2. Domestic Advisor: west india man (and Leader of the Anti-Corruption squad)
    3. Foreign Advisor: Omega124
    4. Science Advisor: Abaddon

Still waiting for west india man for previous issue vote.

New issue: (Yes, I am in shock too, as gambling is serious business, our 1st black market one) Child Casino Shock:
Children as young as eight have been spotted gambling in some of Civ Players's seedier casinos.

So what we doing? There are 2 possibilities:
1/ "Gambling needs to be outlawed immediately. It's no wonder children are becoming sucked into the vice, with adults setting such a poor example. Gambling is a stain on Civ Players's international reputation and it must be stopped!" So says outraged Social activist Max Licorish.
2/ We legalize all gabling with Children involved, because "What's wrong with children gambling? It prepares them for the realities of life, teaching them that success or failure is not due to hard work or intelligence, but the roll of the dice. Besides, if kids weren't gambling, they'd be spraypainting trains." So says Crown Casino chairperson Chastity Spirit.

I would recommend legalization of business by whole then control it, as then we would possible would have 1st true legal, and big and growing business, more taxes income and so on, for all government branches. But what advisors think on this matter?

Ok, I googled and I think I got idea what Silly Walks means :D I think about extending it about of 3 more advisors:

    - Culture
    - Transport
    - Religion (but I prefer it would be someone Atheist in this role, or some Alien Believing Sect, or Illumunati, eventually some Crazy Voodoo Freak)

So you aronnax can choose one of this advisors and connect it with your Silly Walks style. K?

Now the gambling issue, I waiting for rest of votes.

There is only one hermit very old nation in this region. Maybe it have it's history and value, but it would be easier if this nation would be invited to our new fresh region, as in our is almost 10 Nations.
