Which one do you like the best? Here is a nice site with MIDIs of a variety of current, extinct, prospective and even fictional national entities, as well number of sub-national entities as well.

I like French Polynesia's and Sealand's the best (but I haven't heard many of them in a while. They just seem so full of zest and life, rather than the grimmer anthems of some major countries.

I'm very partial to "The Star Spangled Banner," as you might imagine...

It blows my mind that I like it so much, but the old anthem of the USSR is just awesome. I get the feeling that if I knew what the words were, I'd like it much less, but as I don't know it, I can simply enjoy the beautiful sounding Russian words and great music.

EDIT: Added "enjoy". Makes a bit more sense now.

Italy has the best anthem in the world! And it is also one of the most beautiful and fascinating countries in the world!

@Heretic Cata: we had many anthems much more beautiful then this one. For example Traiasca Regele! (long live the king) the anthem from the last years of the Kingdom of Romania. I'm not saying that this one is bad, not at all, but it's originaly in e-moll (mi minor) thus a bit sad.

Edit: I listened to some anthems and they are awfully played! If you have Encarta Atlas you can listen to much better variants.

I like the Italian anthem very much.

Our current is crappy, the older, better one for emperor was stolen by Germany (with new lyrics)

You will hear our crappy one frequently at the winter olympics (I hope)
