Yeah, I'm finally glad Dirk lost the choke label, because he's been pretty far from choke status throughout much of his career.

If there's one team that worries me (Lakers) in the West, it would have to be the Mavericks. The Nuggets can't be considered a legit threat mainly due to their lapses in concentration and dumb mental errors that they make, but those Mavs are tested and ready to roll in a seven game series.

Well every team makes dumb mental errors once in a while, so I wouldn't discount Devner out so quickly. Lakers, Mavs, and Nuggets will be the 3 best teams in the west with either jazz or okc making a good showing.

The west does look exciting with so many team vying for position. We know Lakers are going to be the Number one seed but after that it is going to be interesting.

Yeah, the playoff situation in west is more exciting than east where it's the top 4 and bottom 4 fighting it out. Milwaukee may be able to get 4th if they play crazily well ...

Saw Lebron live at New Orleans last night. What was amazing wasn't just his stat line (38, 6 and 9), but how easy he made it look. He makes full court chest passes seem routine, and almost jogs rather than full sprint. The dude could average 40 a game if he wanted to.

Dallas rookie Beaubois had a 40 point game! He shot 9 of 11 from 3. He did it in 30 mins. He also had 8 rebs. and 3 blocks! Right now he is shooting 50% on FGs, 80 FTs. and 40% from 3. If he keeps it that way, he will be the only rookie to do ever this.

Youth does not do to much for you. Just look at Minne, Clippers, Nets ect. The Thunder are a rare exception.
