(0) 725 BC: Looking good.
(1) 700 BC: Turfan Barracks>Keshik. Hinduism spreads to Beshbalik; I choose *not* to revolt.
(2) 675 BC: We receive word that a construction named "The Oracle" has been built abroad. It is apparently a fancy building that other civilizations call a "wonder." I scoff.
(3) 650 BC: Beshbalik expands. Karakorum Settler>Keshik. Beshbalik Worker>Archer.
(4) 625 BC: Beshbalik is now hooked up to the rest of the empire. I turn the City Gov off in Karakorum, because Avoid Growth doesn't give us extra shields.
(5) 600 BC: Red Dot is now known as Ning-hsia. Say that three times fast. It starts the obligatory Barracks.
(6) 575 BC: ...
(7) 550 BC: Iron Working>Fishing. We have two sources of Iron: one to the SW of Karakorum, and one under the Cottage to the NE of Turfan that vovan just built last turn.
(8) 525 BC: Karakorum Keshik>Library. We are currently 7th place in gold, and running a deficit with 90% science. We need to cottage those floodplains by K.
(9) 500 BC: Confucianism is founded? As in, the Confucianism that comes with CoL? Whoa, maybe we're further behind in science than I thought.
(10) 475 BC: Fishing>Sailing. This is vetoable, but it's either Sailing, Mysticism, or 3 Classical techs that will take close to 20 turns to get to.
Napoleon is the one who founded Confucianism. He converts.
The Pyramids are built.
Notes:
Pretty much everybody asked me for Open Borders at some point. I granted them to Peter, Caesar, and Napoleon, because they're plenty far away. Under no circumstances should we give them to Asoka or the Incas.
One Worker is mining the Iron, one is connecting Besh's rice to the city, the other just arrived on the pigs by Ning. I wouldn't mind a couple more. We have a lot of land to cover and a lot of jungle to chop eventually. Karakorum needs Cottages. Besh and Ning could use some mines to boost our production.
We will need to boost finances and our tech rate soon. No point in building libraries anywhere besides Karakorum yet, because no other cities are generating any science.
We still do not have a diplomatic penalty with the Incas for close borders, but if we get one, we can mitigate it by converting to Hinduism. If we can get away with it though, not having a religion would make tech trading easier once we get to Alphabet.
And of course, we will be able to build Iron troops in five turns
