BTW, I forgot to mention, the radioactivity has detrimental effects as you might expect (that rhymes lol), but might go away if the unit(s) are allowed to rest/regroup/repair for a turn. It isn't necessary to spend $ on contamination gear etc, I'm assuming you already have those to limit the effects.

Radioactive units may spread contamination to other units and locations etc.

Is there anything that can be done to help prevent units getting affected by the fallout coming our way?

Edit: Since I am inconvienced by rarely being on CFC at the same time as you Daft. I'll make some if statements.
If there is someway to help protect against the incoming Fallout, can I change my orders to buy that way without losing the initiative bonus? How fast is the fallout going to travel?
If that can't be done, can I change my orders to say simply, "Save last $2 for next turn" without losing the initiative bonus?

-UPDATE WARNING- I have orders for brown, red and gold+green team. I'm only missing Vertinari118's orders and Popcornlord if he wants to do anything seperate to Matt's orders.

So I'm going to try to update tommorrow, and I'm assuming Aqua forces will focus on the chaotic (black) forces in the north.

If anyone wants more time to send/resend orders please let me know!

@Matt0088, the only thing that can be done to prevent contamination right now is keeping uncominated units away from the fallout and radioactive units. You can save the $2. Minor changes like that won't affect anything especially as they don't really relate to any moving or fighting.

My Commando unit and heavy tank unit will launch an attack on the city at C8. Objectives are simple: wipe out all black forces. My commandos will flank the enemy from C9 while the tanks launch a frontal assault. General Vertinari will be among the first commandos into battle and will lead his squad from the front. My remaining units up at HQ will dig in and wait for the opening moves of the Final Battle to be played out. Oh and air support are to assist in defending my HQ.

At the risk of seeming biased, I'm not going to update with gold team's orders missing, since I think that would be too much NPCage.

IF (and only if) Thlayli/Lord Iggy take the notion of sending orders within 20 hours or so, then I can update tomorrow night. Else the next update will be after Christmas, probably at the weekend. Im happy either way.

Rebase my hero unit to the Gunboat. It's time to crack some heads.

All air forces around imperial capital, WITHDRAW SOUTH. Tank Killers, return to base and regroup. Gunships and transport helicopters, immediate rebase to E8.

Mercenary units, fortify heavily to repel enemy attack. Flakker units, repel enemy air units at all costs. If necessary, destroy the airfield to make it unusable to the enemy. Repair robots: Perform emergency repairs on mercenary heavy tank units. Assist in building fortifications to hold the airfield.

ATTACK ON I3: Gunboat will commence shelling from starting position at J4. Armored cars continue to harass enemy defenses. H3 trooper offers supporting fire while Medium Tanks and Rocket Artillery move in from the north. Light Artillery returns to Gold HQ and directs additional shelling at I3.

If any enemy attempts are made to cross the southern bridge, order the gunboat to destroy it.

Humvee unit: Drive at full speed to assist the mercenary unit defense at F5.
G7 trooper: March at full speed to assist the mercenary unit defense at F5.

I still going to enjoy your airforce when its on the ground in a smouldering reck. That day and half initiative bonus sure is going to do some damage.
