Need quick Algebra 2 help

Alright, I suck at this type of stuff. Any help?

3. -6<x + 3<6
4. -3x > -6 or x - 5 < 2
5. x - 2 > 2x + 1 or 10 > -2x + 2

Do any of those Greater then or less than signs have a bar under them? _

3. -6<x + 3<6
4. -3x > -6 or x - 5 < 2
5. x - 2 > 2x + 1 or 10 > -2x + 2

Fixed

Its been 5 years since I've done this stuff, I'mma work on them over lunch. Hopefully it'll come back to me.

Do you have the answers in the back of your book, I have an idea of how it is done, but I think I am mixing it in with college algebra.

This is annoyingly basic, so I won't tell you the answer (it's probably in the back of the book anyway), only tell you how to solve these. This kind of stuff should be learnt.

[3.] Subtract 3 from each element.

[4.] Divide the first inequality by -3 and add 5 to the second one.

[5.] Subtract (x+1) from the first inequality. Divide the second one by -2 and add 1.

[6.] X^2 = X+X+X+X+X... X times.
D(X^2) = 2X.
D(X+X+X+X...) = 1+1+1+1...=X.
FInd the error.

*heaps some scorn on GoldEagle*

Don't forget that whenever you multiply/devide and inequality by a negative you flip the symbol.

If he has neither learnt nor read that, what's he trying to get help from us for when he can't do either? :p

You might want to restate that more coherantly, because I have no idea what you are trying to say.

You misspelled/misspelt "coherently", so I couldn't understand your post. :crazyeye:

Back on topic, I'm curious *why* GoldEagle is asking this here instead of asking his parents, his teacher, or looking it up in his textbook, or on a serious internet resource. If he couldn't get information out of them, what's going to work better about asking strangers on Teh Intarweb?
