This is annoyingly basic, so I won't tell you the answer (it's probably in the back of the book anyway), only tell you how to solve these. This kind of stuff should be learnt.
[3.] Subtract 3 from each element.
[4.] Divide the first inequality by -3 and add 5 to the second one.
[5.] Subtract (x+1) from the first inequality. Divide the second one by -2 and add 1.
[6.] X^2 = X+X+X+X+X... X times.
D(X^2) = 2X.
D(X+X+X+X...) = 1+1+1+1...=X.
FInd the error.

Back on topic, I'm curious *why* GoldEagle is asking this here instead of asking his parents, his teacher, or looking it up in his textbook, or on a serious internet resource. If he couldn't get information out of them, what's going to work better about asking strangers on Teh Intarweb?
