Need some ideas for a 2nd UU

I don't think I can see Shaka with any non-military uu. Shaka's already a beast, and I want to exemplify that. Super-macemen are perfect for this.

mechaerik, is the Zionist UU an idea that suits your needs for the Israelian civ, or do you need other suggestions?

Another suggestion would be best. Partisans can only be obtained through an event, where your cities are razed, so it would be rather hard to obtain them.

I'd also rather have Israel from biblical times, so by an Israeli UU, it could be Israeli, Judaic, or Canaan.

Well, the Partisan can replace an ancient partisan unit

Also,It is either Israelite or Israeli.

I've been thinking about the Musketeer. I think it should be buffed. What do you guys think of giving it mobility and an extra :strength: point?

That's two extra's.
You've essentially made a renaissance Impi then.

Perhaps march instead of extra strength+mobility?

But Impis don't have 5:strength:.

Since the Musketeer comes later, and obsoletes faster (grenadiers basically replace it offensively), it should get something better.

Besides, once you upgrade it, it loses the advantages of having mobility until MechInfs.

Ajidica, how exactly does a Gaelic Lancer look? So far I'm using a placeholder, with basically the Gallic Warrior on the Keshik's animation. Any suggestions?

It could be called Carpentom... but what would be it's bonus?

Well, supposedly, it's suspension system provided a very stable ride... that would probably translate into higher combat power I would think. Or you could figure it would perform better on bumpy terrain and give it some kind of bonus on Hills I suppose.

Or perhaps something like the Keshik- ignores terrain movement costs, and possibly a slightly higher withdraw chance.

I suppose better suspension can also translate in getting faster on top of the enemy. Free Drill promotion on top of or higher strength, or ignore terrain movements cost? - Except when in forests? It's hard to imagine a light wheeled vehicle moving unrestricted through forests.

I've been doing a little bit more research on Israel, and I can't find much. I did find Sicarii, who were the original zealots (almost literally), who split off of the Zealots, one of 4 major sects after a schism. Things didn't turn out very well for them.

Ok, i did more research on the Zulu, and i found a new unit: isiFuba. isiFuba were the main force of the Zulu "buffalo horns" formation.

For Israel, try the Romah wielder. A romah is a type of spear (possibly just a spear) mentioned in the bible. It is mentioned more then any other weapon.
