Luís I,King of Portugal is worried about the Third Northern war and especially about the Brazilian-Paraguay war.
He soon orders all shipyards to begin a 6 year build up of the Royal Portuguese Navy to make it once again one of the greatest in the world.He also orders his governors in Mozambique to expand west to Malawi,in Angola to expand east heading to the Zambezi and Kasai,in Guinea eastwards to the Niger (why isn't East Timor Portuguese?).

Japanese Daily:
The release of the Yoshimitsu Repeating Rifle is today! The reason is that the engineer who made the estimate was terribley drunk at the time. The new rifle is being shipped to forces in Northern China as you read. Also the Industrialization Project was found to not only increase industrial status, but to also upgrade the Annual Income from Large to Very Large will will be able to support our army upgrade too.
Also the project has been reduced from 5 years to 1 year because of the population boost from taking of Korea, Okinawa, and parts of Northern China. This also effects the army too. Its increase in size is also reduced to 1 year now from the population boost.

Our navy is still very week compared to Britain's and I feel our only way to win is by matching our navy to theres. "Then it is done, we shall wait until we strike, we shall wait until we have all our allies available then we shall sink their navy. Germany will not be beaten!!"

The Netherlands Declares War upon the United Kingdom.
Because of a pact we had previously signed in Germany, and that remains a value in Amsterdam, Dutch forces have today mobilized and the Dutch Government has declared war on the UK.
The Anglo-German war, an extension of the Third Northern War, must be resolved as quickly as possible, and we feel it our place to step in and aid our ally in her battle against the British.
In order to increase efficiency, the Dutch navy will work with the Germans so that it may not suffer a blockade by Great Britain. Ultimately we must prevent such meddling in other nation's foreign affairs and protect national sovreignty.
While the Dutch have a distaste for war, we do have an even worse distaste for backing out of agreements. Hereby, the nation of the United Kingdom may consider itself invariable at war with the Dutch empire.

-Send settlers and troops(half navy and half of the army) to Kongo and there create Belgian-Kongo. Belgium will try to buy it from natives, if buy not succesful take Kongo by force. (das pls tell me how it went, I mean the nowadays Kongo I posted a map in the other thread)

[OOC]trader/warrior, you don't decide the outcome of battles, plus how did your ships get into my supply lines when I've stated ina previous post that my shops were blockading the Baltic Sea?
Please wait for Das to post the outcome of battles. Plus I don't need supply lines anymore as I now control Norway-Sweden thus meaning I can get resources form there.
P.S. Sorry I mis-read your post, I thought you were going to be invading to re-claim the land for Norway-Denmark.

I meant that the events in South America show that Spanish and Portuguese speakers can live together peacefully in one country like Brazil and Uruguay now do.I expressed my hope this will once be the case here on the Iberian peninsula an later on probably in an Iberian nation including Portugal,Spain and Latin America.

Emperor Meiji Has just declared that the army has been upgraded from Medium to Large. Because of this Japan will need less percentage of troops in areas. The amount of troops in 1% of the Army has increased 37% making it from 50,000 troops to 68,500. This increase was greatly needed in China and now 15% of the Army can be withdrawn from there.
Emperor Meiji has also drawn up new plans.
