NES World/Regional Maps Requests Thread

Meh, I'll wait. So will Azale, as he has his present NES to mod.

If nobody is busy can I have that 1900 Map?

EDIT-
Spoiler What I've got so far on Azale's 1860 Map :

I'm not sure about Manchuria and Korea. Or the Balkans so far. I'm too scared to do Africa and I haven't touched SA at all. If somebody could finish this it would be much appreciated.

Jolly good work, but needs more... work.

Manchuria and Korea
1. Leave the former Chinese, especially if this is pre-Boxer, but leave Port Arthur to Russia. Korea is "independent", but really is a Japanese puppet.
2. And also, give Kiaochow to Germany.

In the Balkans:
1. Add Montenegro.
2. Remove Romania from South Bessarabia, and give it Dobrudjia instead.
3. Add Bulgaria, with most modern lands sans the Macedonian ones.

Africa is always a problem.

Maybe Panda could do it from here.

Yes I do.

What effects would the Boxer Rebellion have on Outer Manchuria?

WikiPedia said:
[Outer Manchuria]is the territory ceded by China to Russia in the Treaty of Aigun in 1858 and the Treaty of Peking in 1860.

This is 1900.

I know I have to add Montenegro. Is Greece the correct size? I cannot find any clear maps of the region. I have some during 1914-1918 but these are during WWI and after the Balkan war which reshaped the region. Does Albania exist? I don't think so. I don't suppose Romania is correct ethier. Could you show me where to move it?

EDIT- Do Italy and Serbia look okay?

Prefferably 1914, but 1900 will do as well.

Is Greece the correct size?

Yes. No Albania.

I don't suppose Romania is correct ethier. Could you show me where to move it?

Well take away its present coastal strip and add Dobrudjia (a region in the northeast of the part of the Balkans that is south of the Danube, hemmed in between Danube and the Black Sea, you know, just to the southeast of Romania itself).

Do Italy and Serbia look okay?

Italy looks as ok as ever, though you'll need to remove the excess capitals and perhaps take away some ground north of Venice.

Serbia... not sure, I think it needs a bit more land to the east and a bit less to the southwest (it has a diagonal southwestern border at the time from the southernmost point of the border with Austrian Bosnia).

Sorta goes without saying, but Gran Colombia definitely needs to be broken up, and the Argentine gains in Bolivia removed.

Outer Manchuria does not include any of the territory currently in China. That's Inner Manchuria.

France should control all of Annam, Tonkin, Laos, Cambodia and Cochinchina (together, that makes French Indochina).

Thanks for the input.

Lots of nations need to be broken up because I'm using Azale's 1860 mp. i didn't get them yet. My main concern is Europe and Manchuria-Korea as of now.

@das: Some land off of the land north of venice? Got ya.

If you can, great. If not, I'll still have this to continue.

Updated with the advice given.

Spoiler Romania, Italy, China fixed :

I didn't touch Serbia yet. I fixed the Italian capitals as well as modified the Venice block. I also fixed Manchuria.

He said he didn't get to SAmerica yet.

Mongolia, and China held both before 1911.

About Manchuria: I misread the Wiki map. I thought all the red was Outer Manchuria.

That's better, though perhaps the city situation in the Balkans should be changed - Constanta, the main Romania port, was more to the north (and thus actually WITHIN Romania; on the map as it is now it is the northernmost Turkish port), and Skopje should be added for clarity.

Ooops. I didn't think the area included Constanta. Skopje is just South of Serbia on this map and should be part of it, right?

Skopje is Ottoman-held until the First Balkan War.

I believe that the port city is Varna as it is further south of the Danube than Constanta and further South the Bucharest. Constanta is parallel to Bucharest, slightly more to the North. And Bulgaria shouldn't be on the map, it received independence in 1908. Montenegro shouldn't be there ethier, until 1910.

Varna is furtehr south than that. I did say that Constanta IS supposed to be to the north. Bulgaria only claimed de jure independence in 1908 - but de facto it was independent since the 1880s, and the Ottomans didn't dare do anythinga bout it. Montenegro was independent since 1878 - only in 1910, it was also declared a kingdom.
