OOC: Das, I think you forgot to do the Sudanese situation on the map. It seems unchanged from last time.

STORY:

And now we go to a Army Base somewhere on the Front Lines, where Prime Minister Ndukama wishes to speak to the people:

My fellow Liberians.

Over the past week and a half, our nation has suffered tremendous loss and hardship. Nuclear strikes devastated the very heartland, and killed the Royal Family, large portions of Parliament, and the High Court. Millions of innocents are dead or dying as a result. Our economy is in shambles.

And yet, the state of our country has never been stronger. Though they destroy our largest cities, they can never destroy the stirring spirit of Liberia that rests in the hearts of each citizen. Their attacks sought to eliminate a threat, but they only made the threat greater and more determined.

When the Communist Devil in his Lair pressed the button to launch these missiles, he was actually taking the first step in his own downfall. He formed a steely resolve in the rest of the world to bring these killers to justice. And we will do so. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.

I appreciate the statements of Acting Chairman of the Black Socialists Wurhaal, who stands beside me in his condemnation of the Germans and their lackeys. He correctly recognizes that the Comintern in no way fulfills the true goals of socialist thinking, and they are in fact a new Imperium, bent on world domination.

I call on all Liberians in British-occupied areas to resist to the fullest of your ability. Take up arms, and throw off the yoke of the imperialists before they can tighten it around you! Sabotage the tools of your own enslavement! Kill the men who would defile your homeland with their corruption!

This war that has been thrust upon us is not going to be easy. It will not be short. But it will end with a victory for us, because we are the forces of liberty against the forces of brutality. We are the forces of hope against the forces of darkness. We are the forces of justice against the forces of nuclear holocaust.

The stirring spirit that rests in the heart of every Liberian shall not allow our people to be defeated. We shall succeed in our efforts, and we shall live to bring these inhuman enemies to justice for their acts. We shall triumph, and live to see a world where liberty and security are the norm, rather than oppression and fear.

Good night, and keep up the good fight.

We ask you to reconsider your declaration of war on Israel. The Israelis do not plan to annex Cyprus, only to liberate from the rule of the corrupt Greek mafia. Perhaps the Turks or Balkanese would have been better choices to cleanse the island of the mafia, but even occupation is better than mafia rule (and Israel will grant the Cypriotes their independence as soon as the War is won).

Our forces are spread thinly, with the Incan threat in the south and Dominion threat in the north. We can spare few army divisions for Hawai'i, but we do ask that Oceania and China, who both have sizable armies and no current targets (China and Oceania will mop up other Dominion forces in the Pacific quickly), to assist the Hawai'ians.

WORLD WAR III BREAKS OUT!
Today hell is unleashed upon Earth again. With India destabilising, new remedies are being sought (see next article) for the chaos rapidly approaching from all corners off the world. See:
Germany Goes Nuclear, page 2-3
Italy Invaded, page 4
Americas in Anarchy, page 5

LONG-TERM LEADER CHOSEN AT LAST, SURIYAVA MURDERED
Immediately after the news of the first nuclear weapons being launched the Indian Parliament called an emergency meeting. This was somewhat chaotic as our ex-leader Suriyava Henem did not arrive. Two hours after a substantive majority (seventy percent) was gathered and he did not arrive, Parliament went into session anyway. After eight candidates and two hours of intense debate, it was agreed that Suriyava was to be given the time to keep a firm hand on India - a resolution passed setting him in office for the next six years with almost no possibilities of removal. Speaker Raiven Jeged was chosen by a large majority to lead parliament in his absence.
Just after this, police reported that Suriyava had been found dead in his apartment by asphyxiation. Police Officer Malakutta said:
"The killing was intended to look natural by means of suffocation in his bed, but the killer triggered one of the silent alarms. Why only one - we do not know. At least three had been installed. His bodyguards were drugged and we have not been able to rouse them. The medical department inform me that they will be asleep for the next 48 hours.
We are still picking over the house for any trace of the killer."
Parliament almost unanimously deicded that Raiven was to take place. With only three votes against, India's future seems set, at least in this if not in the spreading war. Raiven says he will attempt to remain neutral, but his loyalties are supposedly towards the DU, as it was a democratic process that brought him into office.

SPACE SHUTTLE LAUNCHED!
The Arabian space shuttle was today launched for it's first and successful flight, with an Indian crew member on board. With this and the recent MNW project (see below), India can truly regard itself as a nation at the forefront of the world.

NUCLEAR POWER HARNESSED FOR WEAPONRY
The first batch of 100 assorted weapons driven by nuclear power have today been handed out to the Elite Sahib Division. These new weapons fire smaller shells with the same force, have a much longer lasting and self contained power supply, and are almost indestructible. The project is expected to produce enough of these weapons on a scale that will not only rearm the entire army, but also make recruiting easier as weapons become cheaper and the "coolness" factor attracts recruits looking for a chance to prove themselves on the shooting range.

ICBMs? You have got to be kidding me das. Please tell me that was a fake update. There is no way in ****ing hell that germany can have ICBM's already.

OOC: Since they've already got men in orbit for quite some time, it seems logical that they would think to use the same rockets to launch warheads with.

And India discovered nuclear power, and we're with Arabia on their space project. We'd kinda have them too.

To: Israel
From: Turkey

Please consider a multi-national coalition of nations in the vicinity to rebuild the Cypriot nation. Perhaps You, Us, and Arabia.

List of Grievences:

1.) ICBMs at this age. Clearly that is a mistake. The thought of ICBMs didnt even enter my mind when starting plans for this war, because you need so much more technology then just 2 or 3 years in space. If there would have been the slightest of chance that ICBMs were a possibility, I would have postponed. It is clearly a mistake, das.

2.) Russian rebellions? That was a huge part of the plan. Russia covers dozens of ethnicities, and the added fact that half is democratic and half is communist should lead to some tensions if one side is supplied.

3.) Trade impacts on Germany and Commitern? That should be a huge hit.

4.) Communist resentment across the world for this nuclear fiasco. Millions have died, still millions more will, from this nuclear war. People across the world should pressure into fighting against Germany who has done all of this. Germany's own citizens should. People are easily amused and want to join communism when they get a man in space first, but when they kill millions they just turn their cheek?

5.) It is not a DU operation. I ask that you remove DU from the update, its not fair to me who has been arguing that it is not a DU operation.

6.) There was not one positive thing for the other side that is not the commitern. Comeon!

7.) Libya agreed via PM to join the alliance a week before the update. Perhaps you just forgot, I know the feeling I always do for my NESs.

8.) Oh, also, you say that Germany found out from counterintellegince. I dont hope you mean that you told him. Our diplomats should now have let anything slip out, especially after the whole prison camp thing. I dont know how you could fix this one, but if you did tell him cus of that, it is completely absurd.

This is not to attack you das, I am just giving you my side of what happened. I still think this is the best NES ever, but I would like you to please take a look at these and correct the mistakes you made. It is one thing to make them, but it is a totally different thing not to correct them.

I hope this okay to say, but anyway... Comitern knew about the attack because China knew and China betrayed you.

no, china didnt know our exact plans, only that an attack in east russia was possible. this is, of course, unless sheep said anything more. I made it clear to everyone not to say anything more.

Knowing Sheep, that is probably the case x_x

What about the rebellions in Russia? :(

OOC: China's capitol wasn't moved....

I'll put it this way: Stalin told me that he knew from Alex that the DU was attacking Comitern this turn. How Alex knew is unknown to me, but you all seem to agree that it was Sheep.

Sheep told me all ;)

A MESSAGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF FORIEGN AFFAIRS

Madagascar.gif

The Madagascaran government, safely evacuated to a secure location non-disclosed, hereby cuts all ties with the Finnish government for a simple reason: they betrayed the trust of our nation, our allies, and the world. When asked not to disclose information to the Chinese because Madagascar suspects Comittern ties, they did not listen. They costed the lives of millions of people in Madagascar, Iberia, and the DC as well as soldiers from India, Africa, America and Korea. It is uncomprehensible that the Finnish government would betray a nation who has put everything on the line to help them.

Madagascar thus cuts all ties and connections with the Finnish consulate.

Korea also cuts ties with the Finnish government; we entered the war to help it, but the President of Finland's stupidity has resulted in the lives of millions around the globe to be lost. Thank you, Finland. You may now fight for yourself, by yourself.

Korea will continue to fight the Communist mass murderers, but it will not be for Finland.

FOR FREEDOM!

Add in Finland's threat to us, "Join the DU in war against the Comintern, or u will be labeled as an enemy."

I plan to skin Sheep and sell his wool.

I swear.

To The Corrupted Chinese Communist Government
From Madagascar

If you know anything, you know that Finland does not represent the DU, especially since he is not a part of the organization. You defected because you are cursed with the plague of communism. Madagascar and its allies are your cure.
