Lol North King Messipia wouldnt've lost the war, not when you get teh full picture. I think it would be nice if we all got to give a generalised last order for the future before we finish of course we can't use the info we have received prior which we would not have.

Of course we wouldn't have.

Das, did you think *THEY* were sending me *THE WEAPON* because I intended to lose?

Anyone want to start nominating countries for awards?

I nominate Fantasmo as winner of the NES. His skillfull playing as the Juang Empire was absolutely, postively brilliant.

I nominate Capulet as winner, for his excellent playing of Sinhala.

Are you trying to be sarcastic? I should win, I expanded the most.

Let's explain some of our reasoning:

The sale of most of the empire:
The first step towards the war against the Izhakists...

I realized from conversations with various players that my empire was way, way too overextended. I had colonies from Somalia to Papua New Guinea. This was also why I was afraid of using my big army to fight various countries. I knew that if I attacked another country after Juang, I might start some sort of chain reaction and that I would be attacked by all sides.

I convinced Erez that I was his ally and that together we would take out the Alexandrine Empire, and eventually the world. In return, he told me everything that was wrong with the Sinhalese Empire. I used this information to strengthen my nation. I sold the vulnerable parts of my empire, but I wanted to keep my Pacific/Indian Ocean empire.

I was planning for a huge war against Khazaria after the sale of my empire. I was going to get the armored chariots from Erez himself, and then use them against them. I got rid of the vassal system and instead just created an alliance of independent states. I was going to use their armies to attack Khazaria, Judea, and Persia simultaneously. I had already planned to hire two 10-battalion Mercenaries, and have one of them to land on the Judean Palestinian coast and burn Jerusalem down, and another to land near the Tigris and advance and burn the Persian capital down.
My plans called for a landing on the Arabian peninsula, with a simlutaneous coastal landing in Persia. I would then use the one of those rivers that goes through Tukran to reach Khazaria, and I would bring the war to their homeland.

But soon I realized that I wouldn't have the time to fight a war that most likely be drawn out. It would require a lot of strategy and tactics, things I really don't have much time to write these days.

My plan called for the Byzantines to invade Persia, Judea, and Khazaria, and re-annex their former holdings. To take out a potential enemy, I signed an alliance with Korea, who would invade Java. From Ming China I received promises of 40-unique-unit battalions who would be deployed on various fronts against the Izhakist Alliance.

I really planned for the Alexandrines to be bait; the Izhakists would most likely have most of their army attacking Egypt with some of them attacking Baltia. This would give us the oppurtunity needed to destroy the Izhakists once and for all; and of course set up a government friendly to Sinhala and its' allies!

I do honestly believe that if I had not left the NES, my plan would have gone through and the Izhakists would have been on the defensive, everywhere. From Judea to Khazaria, they would be rushing to defend themselves.

Oh well, I look forward to the sequel of this NES, where hopefully if time allows, I will be re-taking the Sinhalese Empire...or whats left of it. ;)

But I would like to thank Das for spending so much time on such a fun NES. This is quite possibly the funnest I've played, well since NES2 I.

But I do believe I've improved a lot since my 'Asian Confederation' days, eh?

I think people should refer to the original map to remind themselves of where everybody started

Britannia and Khazaria are high on the list, so worry not. ;)

In fact, I nominate them as well!

I nominate Sinhala as the winner!

Haha, and this is after I sold most of my empire. ;)

I retract my nomination of Fantasmo as winner, as I was being sarcastic.

I nominate Cuivienen. Though she wasn't here for most of the game, I think she handled dealing with the European powers pretty well, and was pretty safe throughout the NES.

I nominate Kha....Sinhala

OOC: Capulet, you nominated Fantasmo as the winner even though you were sarcastic? He destroyed the greatest Land Empire in the World in less then 5 turns!!! :(

Persia explodes.

"We always lived in a powder keg."
- Mithamon (advisor to the Persian emperor). Year 1270 CE.

Ever since the Persian Civil War, there was much uneasiness in Persia. Though Itzhakism was the state religion, an overwhelming majority was Mithraist. Also, the Itzhakist dynasty was regarded as traitors for the loss of much Persian land. It was, indeed, a powder keg, just waiting to blow up.

It is not really known what acted as the spark to that particular keg. Perhaps it was the increased Itzhakist imigration. Perhaps it was the construction of a massive new temple in Ctesiphon. Perhaps it was the lynching of a rabbi in Shiraz, provoking the retaliation from the garrison. Nevertheless, the Mithraist masses of Persia rose up in Tishrei 1269. Angry mobs grabbed whatever weapons they could find - some of them also seemed to receive foreign support in funds and weaponry as well.

Soon enough, Persia was on the verge of another civil war. The empire was in anarchy and chaos, and the emperor contemplated fleeing to Judea. Persian forces could barely hold the mobs at gates in Ctesiphon, and rather reluctantly at that - indeed, rumors are that soon, the army will defect. Persian Empire was burning.

I was reading past updates and forgot something. I can't believe I forgot this, damnit.

It was Sinhala who sent weapons to the Mithrians in the Civil War that broke out. It was Sinhala who lit the powder keg that was Persia. I was hoping to take advantage of the situation and invade Persia, but I freaking forgot. God damnit.

Once again, my usual scapegoat, the Alexandrine Empire, got the blame! Again, I was hoping that the Izhakists would retaliate against the Alexandrians. They almost did. I tried doing that with the Black Army and Baltia too, but then Stalin quit.

But my God, I forgot to invade...

You're a genius, you know that right capulet? :p, at least in this nes :)

Well I nominate Capulet for the winner. Alex I guess I was right when I told you that capulet was the black army. I began to suspect stuff when Capulet was so quiet and I would have figured it out in the future. Also I wondered why everyone used me as a scapegoat.
