OOC: Of course Persia don't want France to surrender. Then FK will turn its attention on them. What Kal doing now is for the best good of France. What your suggesting is only for good of Persia.

So, there's nothing wrong with that, is there? In addition, a Great Power isn't supposed to roll over and die after one turn.

Also, could you really say that Portugal's treaty with the FK was for the "Good of Portugal?" If you define "good" as, "ceding all your colonies," than sure.

And if France surrenders, the NES is effectively over.

These are our terms. We highly recommend that you accept them, your position taken into consideration.

The Treaty of Jerusalem

1. The Ottoman Empire will drop all claims to territory currently occupied by the Holy Islamic Kingdom of Persia, and recognize them as sovereign Persian territory.

2. The Ottoman Empire will cede the following territories to Persia: Socotra, Palestine, Persian East Africa*

Well, I gotta say...the HRE hasnt sacked Rome, utterly destroyed morale, and unleashed hordes of ravenous Spaniards on my cities yet

France is in danger of complete collapse at this point, its wise to cut your losses when you can.

EDIT: Ah, February vacation! I now have much more time to write stories and such. And it's all thanks to OPEC. You see, when OPEC declared their oil embargo on the U.S back in the 70's, many public buildings (including schools) closed for lack of fuel. After the oil crisis ended, people realized that they liked having time off in February anyway. And so it was made law.

and also i should add that HRE is under threat from Poland, Hungary AND FK as well.

Basically what i was saying is that you shouldn't dictate how other players play their nation. Do whatever you want to yours, and let them do whatever they want to with theirs.
