Orders relayed.

OOC: To give me more time to write about Ottoman Empire, Germany, Italy and France I’m skipping all the way to the end of the European Voyage so I can get my Emperor back to China before the update… *looks at certain people* :p The other sections will come piece by piece later this week.

London, Federated Kingdoms

Capitol and center of an Empire more vast then any other on Earth, the City fit well the imperial splendor of its Empire. The Palace of Westminster home to Parliament near the Thames River was clearly in sight as the escort for the Emperor of China preceded up the river. The fabled Big Ben tower loomed nearby a perfect position for artillery placement the Emperor idly thought to himself.

As the small boat neared the shore it was clear that a small procession of British Officials and nobility was there to “greet” him and escort him to the Chamber of Commons. An interpreter by the looks of it asked in Chinese if he required a translator that the Emperor declined speaking in fluent if a bit accented English. He was told that the House of Commons was a short walk away (It was the first time the Emperor had heard the famed British understatement) when the walk took the good half of an hour.

The small procession entered the House of Commons and the Emperor immediately noted that the Chamber itself was relatively small and the benches were all painted green. Despite the size of the Chamber, he saw that the room was crammed from side to side with government officials, newspaper cameras and the like. He noticed that the man in the middle of the room motioning towards him mouthing the words “Come Here” As he walked closer and closer to the Speaker’s Chair he felt and saw the flashing and light of the many cameras in the room towards him.

“There shall be order in the chamber. *bangs gavel* There shall be order in the chamber. The Chair recognizes the Head of State of China, the Emperor of the Orient.” The Emperor shook hands with the Speaker as he stepped down and ascended the chair and after a look around the chamber began speaking in fluent English:

“I have traveled the length of China, India and Europe and yet there are no cities that can rival London. The evident prosperity and condition of your people in your Capitol City reflects upon the status of your Empire. I would not be lying if I said that the Federated Kingdoms are the premier Naval Power in the world with colonies on every continent. My Empire, the Empire of China desires nothing but peace with the Federated Kingdoms. The world has known peace for 33 years since the ending of the Nine Years War.”

“Even in that war, China did not desire to fight the Federated Kingdoms. China has no territorial ambitions on the lands of the Federated Kingdoms but were forced into action and later hostility towards your Kingdom because of their support and funding of China’s enemies in Asia. Look upon any map of the world and you shall see the truth of my words. China and the Federated Kingdom have no land border aside from the impenetrable Himalayas that separate Tibet and India.”

“In this decade, and the decades after China desires only peace and prosperity with all countries upon this world. China itself has no desires for a defense agreement with France only threatened by the Federated Kingdom and her allies in Asia has the Empire agreed to such agreements. It is an open secret that your ally King of Siam has supported and funded rebels in China’s Annam and Laotian provinces. I ask you, the law-making body of the Federated Kingdoms that if war does come, will you rather have China as your enemy or a nation on the sidelines? I sincerely hope that you will make the correct decision about the Federated Kingdom's position in China. Good Day Gentlemen.”

With a flourish the young Emperor left the Chamber leaving it in disarray with constant waves of speech in the House. Outside a carriage bearing the royal symbols of the Federated Kingdom waited for the Emperor to visit King George V in Buckingham Palace for luncheon. Arriving at the Palace shortly he met King George V of the Federated Kingdoms.

A man of medium height, brown hair, piercing steel blue eyes, elongated nose (the Emperor thought it resembled a beak) and unfortunately possessing large ears he was in all an intimidating man, worthy of ruling an Empire. After introductions the two monarchs shook hands as a sign of greeting and equality before sitting down for lunch. As the two and their respective parties ate King George V spoke up casually:

“I heard your speech. Your English is not bad for a native of China, the essence I understood but I don’t understand something. Why do you want better relations with my Kingdom?” The Emperor had nothing but a crooked smile and a twinkle in his eye before replying in a humored tone:

“Maybe we Chinese just got sick of fighting Europe’s war for them in Asia.”

The Emperor left Britain that night and reached China in 3 months returning to Beijing with nothing but a satisfied smile. When the time came for him to declare the Regency at its end as he turned 18, he had became the driving force of progress in China. Seeing a continent does that to you.

Hope he liked it. I thought for a second I'd wasted a month of City beautification. Gave homes to the homeless in return for them cleaning up the place. :D

You are a sad sad person Sultan :p

And I'm just a little poorer off.

It wasn't luxury accomodation.

How much lower should I lower the quality of life of my people until I get respect? :p

I just sent orders, FEAR CHINA. Or should I fear Turkmen, Siam, and Dalnorrosa...

40 minutes left, unless I decide to give you another hour having taken into account the fact that few of you actually read the rules carefully enough, from my experience. ;)
