Announcement from the Federate Foreign Ministry
After long negotiations with his Ottoman counterpart Lord Russell has reached an agreement that is acceptable to both the Ottoman and the Federate sides regarding the Federate involvement in the Near Eastern War.
Provision 1.
The territories of Libya and Egypt are as of now Potectorates of the Federated Kingdoms. Local rule will be established under the guidance of the cespsis of the Federated Kingdoms and Federate laws will be administered throughout the territories. The administration set up by the Federated Kingdoms will be responsible for all foreign policy and defense policy of the territories.
Provision 2.
Legal status of the populations of the territories within the Federated Kingdoms is to be determined by the Federated Kingdoms, but no opression of the local population will take place.
Provision 3.
Future projects within the territories will be jointly administered by the Federated Kingdoms and the Ottoman Empire and will benefit both the Federated Kingdoms and the Ottoman Empire.
Provision 4.
The Federated Kingdoms pledge to help the Ottoman Empire in the conflict with its neighbors, and in the process of achieving a peaceful resolution to the conflict that is both fair and responsible manner

The government of Persia strongly protests this decision. Your leadership is being placed over Muslims without their consent, who have not asked for aid from the Federated Kingdoms. In addition, your map seems to place the newly liberated Shiites of Iraq back under Ottoman rule, Shiites that freely chose to join Persia, when given the opportunity.
Would you clarify these points for us?
The Federated Kingdoms is a known supporter of popular soverignty. Perhaps there lies a solution? Certainly the Egyptian people should be allowed to choose their fate?
