NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

You have to pay the size cost to increase; education, infrastructure, civilian leadership, living standards and possibly centralization (I don't know what das's opinion on centralization is...)

Ninjaedit: Beaten whilst posting

So just misc. stats. Thanks.

You know, iI did unexpected stuff. And does military leadership apply to the costs rule? I'm just curious of course...

I would assume it does not, and believe it has been commented on thusly by dassimo. Civilian leadership would depend on the size (as in competent adminstrators per square mile/head) but you could have a few hundred good offciers covering all your military planning...

From: Papal States
To: Portugal

A regular alliance, not just a mutual protection pact.

Nation Background: Ever since the Portuguese help in the 16th century helped Abyssinia defeat the Sultanate of Adal, the two countries grew closer and closer together. This was particularily helped by the Jesuit Pedro Paez and his disciple, the Abyssinian emperor Susenyos, who helped convert much of Abyssinia to Roman Catholicism. Portuguese assistance helped defeat Monophysite rebellions; in exchange, the Abyssinians entered conflict with the pro-Turkish Sultanate of Sennar, though it was mostly limited to border battles and minor raids done by both sides, thus far.

Well, I hereby reserve the next European nation that is open. Cool?

France has formed alliances with nations which in no way effect your borders. Portugal, Spain, and the Papal states have formed alliances with each other, and all three of your nations border and have had, to some degree, rivalry with the Kingdom of France.
