NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

*secret*

From: Portugal
To: A Certain Nation

Interesting.. Pretending to be our friends while supplying some rebellious savages with weapons. Well, I have an idea: We will not make a big deal about it, if you sent a small expeditory force of about 10 divisions and the needed supplies to help us put down the last remainings of the Zulu incursion we might be able to overlook this little incident. Sounds fair doesn't it?

However this doesn't say that we will easily forget this issue.

OOC: das, you forgot to add my Zambezi expedition on the map. It is mentioned in the update.

Please do not give into the Portuguese warlords
I do not know what Portugal is Talking about. They are a lieing keniving people. Certainly you will not listen to their threats.

@ Kal'T

Strategic shipments are ammunitions, rations, different supplies used by an army or navy :) Many you'll be producing yourself, but some will be imported. I know it might seem a bit aggressive, but it is in spirit of my nation and besides, things could do with a bit of spicing up ;)

Das, does having an enlightenment education make my project (advancing into early industrial age) any faster? You said that "Once someone reaches Enlightenment education, he becomes much more likely to reach the next age as soon as it becomes possible at all. When he does, he loses two education levels." and early industrial age is very possible right now :)

Well, I suppose it should...

Do not be fools, we heard the information of your helpers from the mouth of a zulu leader  . We know who is behind everything and what is being sent to help

Here is an extraction from the Braunschweig Times:

The Braunschweig Times, 17 February 1743

Braunschweig.png

The Coat of Arms of Braunschweig/Brunswick

His majesty creates Ehre Korps

Citizens of Brunswick cheered in the streets today as our beloved King, Ferdinand Albert I, announced the creation of the Ehre Korps, an elite fighting unit seperated from the Army. The Ehre Korps is under the direct control of the King and will aid the Army in the defence of Braunschweig if our great nation would ever come under attack. A typical Ehre Korps soldier is extremely skilled in all aspects of warfare and fanatically loyal to King and Country.

His majesty enlarges his.........ARMY

"The world is growing more hostile as we speak. The citizens of our nation need to know that Brunswick can defend itself if attacked. Therefore I, King Ferdinand Albert I, have ordered the enlargement of our Army. These brave young men will help us ensure that there is a great nation for our children to grow up in, today and tomorrov." - King Ferdinand Albert I

In other words the army is enlarged for the safety of the people of Brunswick.

Well, at least the world now knows the benefits of a French guarantee of independence.

If I were Brunswick, I'd be worried right about now...your nation might be deemed "strategic"!

No hard feelings, really. The Middle East wasn't doing it for me. On to other things...

We offer the Arabs freedom of worship, peace, prosperity, and a degree of autonomy on the local level. I do not see what more they could get from rule by you than they could rule by us. Frankly, you are more an oppressor than we are, and less close to the roots of old Islam. You are fools if you think that jihad falls on your side.
