NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

From The Ottoman Empire
to russia

Very well, The Ottoman Empire here by withdraws from the Orthodox parts of Greece and recognize it as an independent nation.

blah stupid super power bully!

The Ottomans did not have to free anything, perhaps you forget but the Russians first asked for the freedom of Greece, we have given them that and now you want more? Are you suggesting we withdraw from Europe completely? And leave our capital, i highly doubt that any leader would do such a foolish thing.

ooc leave it alone, i gave up greece now shush :)

The Ottomans will only withdraw from Greece, since they are the only people who have declared independence. We recognize it whole heartedly and will remove every single Ottoman soldier from that area. If you look back to their first diplomacy you shall see that they only demanded we give independence to Greece.

To the Ottoman Empire

You have six months to withdraw all troops from Greece .

As you can see, Russia clearly states that we withdraw from Greece. That does NOT include Constantinople and the rest of our European holdings.

To the Ottomans
From Russia

Seeing your reluctance to give independance to Greece we decided to give you a better insentive. If by the end of the next month any Ottoman troops are still present in predominantly Orthodox areas of the Empire Russia and the Ottomans will be officially at war. We suggest you begin withdrawing your troops immediately.

Oh really now? ;)

Yes really now, The Ottoman Empire has made up it's mind.

ooc please no more diplo until das gets here!!

The Old System Dies

Goya's,_Execution_of_Spanish_Rebels_under_Napoleon.jpg

“FIRE!” The commander yelled, his sword raised. Gunfire erupted in front of him as a line of Ottoman’s finest fired on the rebelling Janissaries. Why is this happening to use, where is Allah now! a shot pierced the commanders shoulder, sending him flying off of his horse. Another shot ripped through his leg, twisting it back at a horrible angle. What the hell is this! This isn’t war, this is just death!

“Retreat! Retreat!! The commander is down” one soldier shouted.

“No! we must fight! We must defend the Sultan.” Sekim shouted, as he raised his musket (right?) and shot at the oncoming Janissaries forces. “FOR ALLAH!” He drew his sword and plunged into the horde, stabbing the first man he saw. Grabbing his sword and blocking a blow to his head. This is it, this is my dream, to fight for the just. MINE! His sword rattled as another blow landed on it. FIGHT! He struck back, cleaving his attackers shoulder and then gutting him. I’m alone in this fight, aren’t I.

“Fight with him brothers! Fight for your Sultan!” The men behind Sekim roared and raised their weapons to fight the rebels. Gun fire erupted from behind him, cutting down the enter wave of Janissaries as they charged. The tide had turned in the army’s favor and the rebels ranks were thinning.

“Reload, reload!” Sekim shouted as he ran back behind defensive lines. Frantically his comrades reloaded as he grabbed a near by musket and did the same. Already Sekim had taken charge of the situation. “Aim!” Sekim, lifted his musket and pointed at a charging Janissary, smirking. Allah protect him. Sekim pulled the trigger, his shot slamming into the man and breaking through his shoulder and bringing the man to his knees. Again, the eruption of gun fire battered Sekim’s ears, the last big wave of Janissaries had been killed.

“Now my brothers! Charge!!” Sekim roared, and in unison his men drew their swords and chased after the remaining Janissaries.

After the battle was won, Sekim was brought before Osman IV for disobeying a direct order.

“Sultan Osman, forgive me, but I was protecting our great empire I knew that this was a key point in the battle my lord you must understand I fought only to protect you! I…”

“Silence! I have heard your story already, and you are not here for a trial.” Osman said quickly. “you are here to receive a promotion, Sekim Ahmed you have shown courage that many would not have exhibited. You are the new generation of generals in the Ottoman Empire, a young and vibrant man in touch with his soldiers. You shall lead the 4th Infantry Division to crush the rebellion in Persia, but only if you accept, do you?” Sekim stared at the Sultan in awe, his wide open jaw soon changing into a grin,

“I accept your Majesty” Sekim bowed again and struggled to remove the grin from his face

“Tis alright, I would be happy if I were you to"

From Afghan Khanate
To France
It is curious if you will treat Greece in the same way you treat other developing nations, or perhaps your simply trying to find a puppet for your master. As a "civilized" and powerful nation, perhaps you should worry about your own affairs before they throw up in revolution, afterall, why do you support revolution in other nations when you stamp out freedoms across the globe. Once again, it seems your hypocrisy floats to the top. In the furture, we encourage you to remain out of Asia, or what you deem the "Middle East", you won't find many friends here, if you find any at all.

Fare well to you, for we stay in our hellhole, but who cares because at least its not France.

To Russia-Lithuania
Our khans are going to die of natural causes? Oh No! We have so much to fear!

In lieu of recent events, King Tyr Nul Abadi wishes to establish an alliance of trade and defense between the Islamic nations of the world. Christian Empires threaten our existence and if we unite our Empires will prosper to an extent never seen before.

I propose:

I. Mutual Defense agreement against all attackers.
II. Trade agreement between all economies to increase trade and provide economical assistance during times of civil crisis and aid in the contruction of national projects.

This would last for an unspecified amount of time. What say you?

OOC: Panda, Constantinople was not predominantly Orthodox by this time period; it was Muslim.

Ketharu you seem to know awfully little for a 16 year old.Oh well minus score for the american education system

Regarding the Treaty of Asmara:

If the second portion were to come into effect, would it have a time limit?

From: Portugal

Actually the the Treaty of Asmara is of no direct concern to you. It is merly a trade agreement between the Ottoman Empire and Portugal.

You must be reffering to something else:

The second term of the Tready of Squara Trade of the Red Sea (or sth like that), which has been proposed by the Ottoman Empire, is not supported by Portugal and we will refrain from signing this item if the secodn point is included.
