3 questions:
1) what is the ETA of new stable version?
2) i heard that now civ v vox populi supports x64 pc's better is it true?
3) new happiness system? Is it good, does it impact performance, loadimg times etc?
Thank you.
1. Its a voluntary project for free, new versions get out when Gazebo have time.
The only time when theres been ETAs have been like "new version is coming out soon" which normally means in a week or two.
Most versions are stable, there are bugs and balance issues but crashes are generally because of ppl using other incompatible mods or don't remove other mods before install.
2. What context?
It's a 32-bit game don't let you get fooled by anything else.
Probably a marketing thing or very small adjustment to make it crash less in windows 10.
Its as stable as its ever been on x64 architechture running windows 7.
Edit: and this is regarding civ 5, Vox pop doesn't change anything in the engine.
3. All happiness systems have worked, you have to learn how to play around them.
The main adjustment I believe is to not allow civs to snowball too easy.
No, performance is mainly due to ppl playing huge maps, graphics on max and lots of other mods.
Even vanilla BNW had disappearing yields from the overland view because of 32-bit limits.
