New BNW FAQ!

We've seen the Industrial Age tech tree, there are no new units there. It has to be a UU.

Hey, it was just a question to get the topic going :) :(
And I didn't see you ask any questions *pokes back*

Holy crap. Are those questions actually answered in that thread?

She actually answered the five shortest questions from that thread.

anandus', mine, Pouakai's, UkrNixon's and Calouste's

We could use this to find out which questions will be answered next!

It would be great :)
the inclusion of Pressburg as a city-state

I had not seen this new information- where did you see this?

Pozsony = Pressburg (german and most common name generally) = Bratislava (a name given in 1919, Slovak mistranslation of an 8th century slavic leader)

On a related note, I still can't beleive Firaxis named the city this way. Either Pozsony or Pressburg would have been appropriate names. Calling it Bratislava is close to an insult to hungarian history.
Pressburg was a german-hungarian town, with multiple shifts in the majority of the population (either hungarian or german).
Nevertheless, it was one of the most important cities of the Kingdom of Hungary for more than 1000 years continously, most of the time under the direct rule of the hungarian kings...

That's actually kind of sad in a way.

Maybe my question would have been answered if I had phrased it more briefly so Firaxis could be bothered to read it.

Hungary already has Budapest, let the Slovaks have their capital too.

I don't think it's about length; I think they are focusing on new stuff, it's unlikely questions about changes to the current game will be answered. Not going to generate enough hype.

I only asked mine on Twitter like she asked us too. I hope she does one of mine.

I'm not speaking against the Slovaks, but this is a historical game.
Bratislava is a 20th century city name, the name was made up in 1919 from a misinterpretation of a mediavel source about a slavic lord in Moravia.
Pozsony/Pressburg should be called in it's historical name, under it's full historical glory.

Spoiler :
Q: What is the name of a Unique Ability found in the next civ you want to reveal?

A: Sorry, we can’t reveal that. However a snippet of the text string describing the Unique Ability can be shared. That is: ‘… for each International Trade Route with …’”

If it is the European civ that has this UA, then the only one I can think of that would make sense would be Italy.

inb4 Hungary, but seriously another European WTH????

99% that the European civ will be Italy
Most of us are not happy about this, but it's getting more and more likely...

Why, if I may ask? It would be perfect for BNW's additions to CIV 5.
