It was itself a safety feature. Without it you really don't want to be walking by just when a guest at the inn decides to empty their chamber pot.

I believe it is due to the leaseholder of the house only having to pay ground rent for the space that the ground floor covered - therefore it was a way of maximising living accomodation at the lowest cost.

The mosque is very nicely modelled. If I had to nitpick it would be that very few Ottoman mosques are so clearly white. Most are beige or more brownish.

But don't worry about that, I'd much rather harass you with the Arabic mosque.

No really your work is great Varwnos, keep it up.

As for the arabic mosque, i will probably model it in the near future
