Well generally (going back to Civ IV Warlords) expansion packs release in June/July after being announced the same February/March. So if this does turn out to be an expansion, its announcement will be significantly earlier than has been the case in the past.
Even if GH is indeed the expansion depot, I don't think it is likely that GH standing for the name of the expansion. Civ VI itself was dubbed Madrid (for a reason that I don't know), and it's depots and DLC are named like that as well. GH is indeed a large depot with 1.4 GiB, while the DLC depots are all smaller than 100 MiB. I wonder why it is named "Civ GH" instead of just "GH." Still, GH might stand for something that is not related to the title of the expansion, may even be an insider joke of some kind. Or maybe it's just standing for Grand Heist.

i thought about this just being the plans for the next batch of DLC but i doubt that. the point people have raised about the circular imagery, its akin to expansion theming (as vanilla was themed with flight from the trailer and the theme song) this is shaping up to be a circle/cycle of history theme. IDK if that means expansion or not, but it certainly strikes me as such. I really hope there's at least one more major patch akin to religion rebalancing between now and then :/
There's a depot on the Civ VI SteamDB called Civ GH. It appeared over the summer. Some of the files were incorporated into the Fall Patch, but we still don't have a good idea of what it really is.
Perhaps the circles are to emphasize the cyclical nature of history--so once you win, the game instantly starts over again. Or we can do this Canticle for Leibowitz style and it starts over again after the apocalypse.
As I remember it Firaxis usually don´t upload their stream immidiately after they´ve made a stream.
Unfortunately, I am unavailable when the stream is happening, which mean I will be looking for the stream a few hours later. Are anyone going to record the stream? I would hate to wait a day to watch the stream...
