New IOT Map Thread

So, first I made this:

Which then turned into this:

And then flipped to be completely unrecognizable (After the apocalypse, why would map conventions of east and west remain?)

My source was this
If anyone feels like using this map, I probably would be willing to throw together more of it.

It's one thing to rotate 180º and another one to flip sidewards. :p

flip flip flip

I mean, it's a bit moot, and really depends on where the center is placed. If jerusalem is the center of the world, then jerusalem will be the center of the map. If Nawlins is, then Nawlins is central.

I mean, it's a cool map in the proper orientation. If you're trying to hide that it's the North American Atlantic Seaboard, though, Lake Superior makes it *very* obvious, and from there you can see Michigan, Huron, and the St. Lawrence waterways all pretty clearly, as well

EDIT: If you were interested in taking the proposed climate data and making a world map in the original (terrain) style, however, I would be very interested in seeing the results

I was using this

I could, I suppose, attempt to stitch together one at that level of detail, I suppose...

jfc i havent updated this in ages

I'll scroll through and update tomorrow.

Thy, plz, spoilers.

Perhaps we should keep maps here in formats that are usable? A lot of the newer posts aren't useful unless you have special overlays. Given that the average GM is still using some variant of Paint, it's probably a good idea to either post just basemaps or include files with those overlays.
