Ugh why didn't I just say troops moving from one province with a road to another move x% faster to model the fact that a lot of the roads just barely touch another. Also the North and Dorne should take 1.5-2x as long.

It's not on here, but if you go look at my failed attempts at games in the Caribbean, there's a basemap you can use. You'd have to draw your own provinces though.

you know, you don't have to use provinces, actually that might work better for a game like this, say do something similar to Botowaki or NES' in general
