New unit: The Makou Cannon (a.k.a Sister Ray) from FF VII

Ohhh, fancy. I felt almost obligated myself to create a Sister Ray animation. What program did you use to create it? It would really be nice if someone made a Midgar MOD. Has one been created..?

Take a look at Hikaro's graphics library. There is a Midgar-style city there. :)

Follow my signature links, my young apprentice ;)

If you follow the "Final Fantasy Mod Project" link you can see the progress made thus far on such a mod, although Shinra represents FF VII, and is one of 11 civs added thus far representing the games from VII-XI. I've just added the Kingdom of Baron From FF IV, and will be adding Ivalice and Ordalia from Tactics somtime tomorrow. For my FF based wonders, cities, and city improvements, see the "My building, wonder, city and leaderhead graphics library" link.

Hikaro Takayama, here are some sounds that I put together for your Makou Cannon. The new "move" sound that is used for the Fortify, Fidget and Victory, seems to work better for this unit and I corrected the timing for it. The new Attack sound has a Bigger Laser sound for your Big Cannon. The Death sound has a different end. All Game Tested.
Also I made a Sharp Civ Specific units_32.pcx file that is included in the small zip for you.
Fun Unit...Thanks :goodjob:
get the Zip here:

Thanks. I was thinking about re-doing this unit and my Advanced Airship sometime in the near future based on the strides I've made in animating with Bryce. Hard to believe that I'm working on my 8th unit already.

Hey thats cool, I want to use that.=)

I'm going to try it out, see if I can understound how to use new units.

Hey Hikaro, you did that with Bryce?

Yup, just like every other unit I've made thus far. Much of the original model, though was imported from a 3D-Studio Max file that WyrmShadow was kind enough to donate to the cause. I've already started on the Bryce unit tutorial that I've promised, but I want to get my current unit (the Ork Looted Leman Russ tank) finished and posted before doing the tutorial. I'll most likely have the Russ finished by tomorrow evening, and the first part of the tutorial (making the darn thing) posted as well. The unit I'm doing for this tutorial is a (realatively) simple 18th century pirate cannon (Yarrr!), the finished form of which I'll release once I'm done with the tutorial (I'm also posting an un-animated version of the actual Bryce model file for those who may have trouble with my modeling tutorial so that they can pick it apart and figure some of the techniques out on their own. :)

That´s great; what I can´t figure out is how to model with Bryce, because I put a shape in place but can´t do much with it.
