I have seen already two great profets with no assigned religion wandering around aimlessly. Have never seen this before in previous versions. Anyone else seen this?

Are you using any mods? If in doubt about this being a bug or not, report it to GitHub! 🙂

Please also attach a savegame and logs.

I'm sure it's been said somewhere before but I am not a forum sleuth;
We've removed exp on tile reveal for recon units?
Literally the only reason I ever installed VP. The rest has been sweet, sweet icing on that optimized movement cake. Civ 6 feels like mollasses by comparison.

No it's not.
It's still working as intended for me

Could you IGE the map to show us where they started?
I think 3 move Pathfinder is going to have to be reverted, we can't have this turn 2 elimination silliness.

They really love the coast.

That warrior seems to be lost. Maybe the starting settler is excluded from escort logic?

What? How about just teach the ai to stack their starting settler with their warrior if they don't settle instantly.
I changed it a while back so that the AI starts with the Warrior on top of their Settler.

The first turn Settler is indeed exempted from the normal escort logic in CvHomelandAI:: PlotFirstTurnSettlerMoves(). This should only be an issue when the AI moves their starting Settler to a better location (due to the above).

How is the initial settler position determined? Isn‘t it already the position that’s considered the best one in the area by the game? Would it be better if the AI were not allowed to move the initial settler?

I'm not sure how the algorithm determines this but in my experience it's always better to move the settler a tile or two; either it gets a coastal start, puts a 3rd copy of your monopoly luxury within 3 tiles radius, puts the player in range of a marble or natural wonder (the desert hill tile to the south of Morroco initial setter location is way better imo).

It's the best location of the region (factoring in raw plot yields) when accounting for all 3 rings, but weighted towards the center of the region. Moving always risks close contact with a neighbour.

Also, resources, natural wonders and city states are all placed after that.

Could you elaborate more on how the "best location" is determined?
Starting yields, overall yields after improvement, does it factor in later unlock of some resources? How does jt weigh natural wonders, marble, Ivory and features?

Notice the Oil and Coal resources on right top corner. The second image is after 'Nationalization' Doctrine. Is it intended as ? Otherwise, this is very OP

-edit: I have Nexxon Headquarters

Yes, the corporations were intentionally made to be totally bananas.
This is actually the least crazy effect, because there is no real benefit to having more oil than supply!
