On regular sites. Haven't tried hidden sites. It does work in CS territory but never in AI lands. No error message; but dig option doesn't come up. I posted screenshots on GitHub before.

I have the same results, ever since I started playing with VP in the spring. I assumed that was how the mod worked.
 
Base CP AI has definitely gotten too placid. Previous version had warmongery and aggression at well-balanced levels. Current version avoids any conflicts and is happy to trade for the entirety of the game, making it feel a bit too stagnant. Getting it back to previous version levels could potentially amend the situation, but I'm not sure what the implications for CBO would be.

Yeap, this is a problem. Gazebo will have to take a look when he returns from his expedition to find Leugi. If he misses these posts, I'll compile your concerns and make a GitHub post about it - if I remember and no one beats me to it :p

guys pls do something in future with that diplomacy :D they enact world peace( against me coz im only warmonger on map), than the biggest initiator of that give me free money to help me not bankrot, another one who also voted for that and so against me, give me free luxury and propose on world congress ban one of only mine :D :D
 
I also have had the "unable to dig for artifacts in foreign territory" issue from the very beginning I started playing this mod. 7 versions later and it's still there. Think I reported it once on github and got the response "unable to replicate". Eventually I gave up and now live with it. Doubt that I have a bad install since everything else works fine. I still bet this is a legit bug but comes up in certain conditions only

Unable to replicate on pc. I can dig site in my neighbour land.
I didn't tried in a vassal land, however.

also why i receiving random pop ups about bad security against enemy spies in capital, when i already have there spy(2 rank) and constabulary. still it reporting me some 8/10 dangerous, what i cant absolutely know where those numbers come from.
Maybe you are the tech leader?

another thing-my spy was in honolulu for first time and his tech steal countdown was 265 turns, without any antispy building. that city has same population as capital of Brazil, where i already stole 2 techs in 65 turns. when i look into civpedia, i will find just comon vanilla info.
Tech stealing are less efficient in the later era, maybe that's just that. It depends on the tech level of your opponent, also (i think).
Your spy is useful even without stealing a tech, as he can steal science point, gold, assassinate... it's done automatically.

I'm experiencing an issue with pantheon creation. They are not showing CBP info but BNW info.

civ 5 BTS and BNW installed.. no DLC
Vox Populi (8-18)
No EUI
No other mods

Ty for help.. I would rly like to try out that mod but only if it work as intended. Feel free to let me know if my post is not at the right place.

No DLC mean no DLCs bought to Firaxis beside the 2 xpac.. So yea no leaders DLC. But if im not using them by choosing who i want to fight in game setup, it should not occur any problem with VP right ?

The game was in french, changed it to english and it fixed the problem. Ty so much !

I am pretty sure you have to have all the leader DLCs regardless.

You need all the DLC to run the mod correctly, it's in the install-thread...
 
i shouldnt ask here since its already vanilla problematic. but can someone explain me how works cultural influence via ideologies, i cant understand that. i have autocracy, Poland has autocracy. im fighting brazil who leads monstrously in culture. first i saw some disidents in poland too, now its just me and it increasing, no matter how i try increase happines( buildings focus on what each city needs etc) first i had -17, now its -22. Brazilians are familiar and their influence rapidly decrease. what i need to do wipe their influence? i dont wanna switch ideology,prora is 2 tech away(and even that i suspect after i build that, unhappines increase and negate that again). i just cant continue in my plans with happines on +-1. im goin to capture their capital, bcoz its lair of evil, but than im done.

edit: im 3rd in culture output, brazilians +2 more has freedom.
 
Playing this patch I notice the following:

I am getting stuck in never ending trade deals. The AI will ask to re-new, I will refuse, but the trade deal keeps going. The AI will ask every single turn.

The AI is once again asking for deals, but refusing it's own deal.

When are they coming back? :) I was hoping to play a lot this weekend but the thought of another round of new games with super peace loving uber-friendly tech-gifting passive AI is daunting.. Wish there was a way to roll back a couple versions?
 
i just dont understand what brasil doing and how it is doing. they finish worldwonder while new unit come out from city, while ten another units roling from fog of war, while supporting some world congres games or whatever it was. rly clever ai, just doubt about its huge bonuses. i become leading faction with about +2/3 techs and after few turns they are same or even above(btw i have also many reasearch agreements) + what i steal from conquering, while balancing at least at 0-3 happines. and btw last game with events on. i rly have to much weak nerves seeing spend my great scientist(which i made ton of turns) absolutelly worthless for some - ton of science accident of my labs, reverting whole GS bonus back. but yep i forget, AI just have to get Prora before me, so lets help her.

also,just got some 2lvl tenet which should reduce war weariness about 50%. i needed that bonus right in that moment to finish besiege. no, ofc nothing happend. im done, its unplayable. having in game at least one such moron like little pony Pedro is, and game as warmonger becomes unplayable. maybe i will do that in future games. just overwhelm everone with turism and than, due unhapinnes crush them,despite the fact im absolutely zero war nature nation going against warmongers + with war tenets. no, no matter, just spam 1000 gatlink and things are just ok. well why he shouldnt go upper part of tech tree, player just will not benefit from having more evolved war arsenal, bcoz regardeless of being 1st in land, i will not get even small tear of oil. naah im aborting this game. i didnt realize that i have to capture every faking frozen piece of map to get at least some oil,aluminium. im not in hope about uranium, bcoz with this progress i will have no use for it.

that inpact of turism is unbalanced and gamebreaking. i just imagine now as im sitting here, how hitler's ss just disband or desert, his city will burn in revolt, bcoz USA have Hollywood and more favourite movies. aha ok. i would say nothing if i absolutely stagnate at culture/turism output, but im 3rd in culture 2nd in turism. no Pedro have his brazilwoodcamps and his monkey art corupted every mind of my empire. :D :D this game(not just this mod) is great, but some parts rly arent.

anyway when someone pass thourgh thiscrying post, at least explain me why i started having -17 happines due to more influential culture(im ok with it) and by that time increasing every turn about -1 more eventhou their inpact is decreasing. and btw as im watching culture overview everyturn now i noticed that even when it should decrease massively, its even more from 41% its now 42%, but decreasing. if i understand that right, if i shouldnt attack him(or if he is on second island) he just win few turns after hotels/airport comes in.
 
Has IGE broke for anyone using this version? Sometimes it won't close and other times it's all fragmented, menus and buttons are in different places and accessible.

There is. The "How to Install" thread has a link to a folder with older versions... last time I checked it went all the way back to January versions...

That tenet doesn't reduce your current war weariness... it reduces the war weariness you get per turn.

Remember you get get tourism from historic events like a great person being born and stuff, so even though his impact per turn is decreasing if he gets a historic event his total influence will increase.
