Yay, I'm in. I have no idea how you guys go with newbie threads around here, so I figured that I may aswell come up with a decent topic. Or at least, something that could come across as a decent topic to some random people. I hope. Maybe I am a little on the odd side after all these years (I'm no longer as Loony as I was when I 'invented' my username - It just stuck, that's all)...

So yeah. Topic. Right. If you were to be have the power to make one decision or change to these forums, what would it be?

FWIW, this thread (and "E2") feels quite "spammy". If all you wanted was to say "Hi, I'm new here", then by all means, say it. As to the purported subject, it is definitely a "Site Feedback" thing.

If I were to change something it would be the ability to log out from any screen instead of having to go back to the main forum screen to log out.

Welcome! Since you are new I'll give you a little advice

If you plan on flaming get it as far away from AoA as you can or you will be busted. Not to rack on my fellow mod, but that is one thing he feels important to enforce, I am stricter on SPAMMING than some are.

One more thing is just to enjoy posting and don't take too much offense to what people say. If someone makes a racist or offensive remark just report the post and we will take care of it. Too many problems are caused when people try to defend themselves, if someone is really bad we will go about inserting things like "I like to play with barbies" into their posts and make them look bad, but we will do it to you too if you flame them back.

So, in summation, welcome to the forums, enjoy your stay!

Yeah I guess I'm just anal like that. It's the engineer in me. BTW I know that if you just close the window you automajically get logged out after the forum realizes there has been no activity from you. I must just be a control freak.

If I could make a change.....

I'd like to be able to choose the colour I see the forums in.
I'd also like to be able to reach into the screen and give certain people a good slapping where necessary. I can't be bothered to flame anyone to be honest, but a few slaps might sort them out.
