No e-mail notifications anymore when a new message appears in a thread I posted in, while browser notifications (enabled) still work

So why not receiving mails anymore and unability to post didn't occur at the same time ?

That doesn't explain me why (or at least I still don't understand) why I couldn't post/send PMs all of a sudden with the fact that I have an Outlook/Hotmail address registered in my CFC account. I changed it for a gmail box and suddenly I can repost and all.

My understanding is that xenForo, after seeing your email was blacklisted, moved your account into a user group that is awaiting confirmation of your email. In that user group, you are not allowed to post or send PM's. Once there was an email confirmation, you were allowed to post again.

edit - it is part of the security system to protect members from spammers.

This seems to have happened to another range of members too. Some of them I've manually validated right now.
