Is one bullpen 26 or 52 leaders? Could we just make a YouTube video, shuffle a deck of playing cards, and that's the order in which leaders are played? Or is it sorted so that leader traits are spread out as much as possible?

The current set of leaders being played since 212 Hannibal is technically the fifth bullpen, we're just using the completed fourth bullpen threat since no one made a new one. And making a new one halfway through seems a bit...well, might as well cross the finish line before trying that whole "new threat" idea again, I feel like.

One bullpen is all 52 leaders, and leaders are spread so out so that (ideally) traits and civs are spread out. Darius being two games after Cyrus is a great example of my "cross out traits" system not working, but hey, nothing is perfect.

Possibly, it's not an easy map figure out, but I've got one ready to be processed and posted. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but creating a map that's balanced for newcomers yet won't have veteran players end up in an obvious winning position by T100 is borderline impossible.

Since Cyrus demonstrated the former with no realistic opportunity to show off an Immortal rush...well, suffice to say this next map is undoubtedly going to be an example of the latter. Gotta give the new people a chance to witness the absolute power of early UU rushes, though. That's what NC is all about, in theory.

Hey all.

I've played Civ4 on and off before, never even finishing an actual game despite 70h+hours on Steam

Noble Club seems a good way to start again playing this game. From what i understand, it's one game a month? Right now its Cyrus and it's the end of the month, so i guess it would be best to wait for the next one.
