I agree with PG, I see no reason not to split the duty if both turn players are ok with it. It would require more care at handoffs though, not only actions but also reasons for them must be fully specified.

I think it would be better to have one captain on the bridge, for continuity, and because detailing all micromanagement would really be rather tedious. Also, each person has a different playing style.
There will be other turnsets after this one (I hope
), so there will be other chances for everyone that wishes to play. If we have a lot of candidates we can always shorten the sets to ten turns each.
As we have another candidate for the next set, and as I just played two sets, I will withdraw from the race, and restrict myself to pestering the new chairman with "helpful" advice

Yes – I agree it's better to have a first chairman, rather than chairmen.
Most things here are done by consensus anyway, but continuity in MMing is very important.

As for a new first chairman, I'm technically able to be one (as in, I own c3c and I have the time) but I would not consider myself to be seriously in the race for it if there is even anyone else who has the game and the time (and the will to play). This is because my experience and knowledge of the game is only limited.
Just suggesting a bit here, but how about zyxy returning to the position of First Chairman? If he wants to, I'd nominate him.
