[NOT BUG] ESc button doesn t work for exiting the intro vid

Hi there,

Am I the only one that almost break his keyboard everysingle time he wants to bypass the intro of civ 5 ? I have to press Esc like 200 times !

The intro can't be cancelled by that, because the game is loading data in the background.
You can disable the video (please take a look at the tech FAQ in the tech support forum), but then you will have to look at a black screen instead.

At least the blacked screen doesn't take as long as the video.

They could have spent 30 mins adding a nice loading screen... I guess they needed to hire an extra intern to do that...

So this is working as intended? Because for me what's weird is that my mouse always stays as in windows mouse mode. This is definitely a place where Firaxis could have taken a page out of Civ IV with a load screen.
