Well, on reflection, my role doesn't mesh with the possibilities of a cult. I find it unlikely that there would be a cult.
If you role hints at a possibility then you should give us more detail. If it explicitly states so, then you should indicate that also even if you don't provide details.

It seems like a genuine (desperate?) interest in saving his own skin, perhaps so that when Auto flips scum he will look less suspect? Maybe it's just my paranoia, and he was really only helping the GM to see his vote.
A valid suspicion, but maybe it's just a defense attempt. Also, for someone who is on the verge of being lynched, I expected a stronger defense, or at least a role claim.
