I used my ability on KingMorgan. Apparently, they died and I lived.

The number of folks "guilty of dishonest practices" is down by one and is now 2 (two). So maybe you guessed correctly. I'd think so from the writeup description of KingMorgan's demise, which is different from usual kills. Did your ability mention that you were supposed to be "not alive" for a night after your lynch?

I'd hazard a guess that you came back to life solely because of your ability, and not because of Lassie's ability. And you're going to live beyond today. If KingMorgan were not corrupted, then Lassie's ability would kick in and resurrect you for only a day.

kingmorgan was talking to you guys privately?

He had an ability that let him open private QT's with people and talk to them. Kind of like what I had in Red Dwarf Mafia, but his QT's only included one other person, not everyone he targeted. He had QT's with me and Kennigit, and... I don't even know who else.

What did he tell you about who he targeted, Kennigit?

At least 2 other alive players besides you and me (with success--also said he failed on zack/pizza)

He said he could use it every phase, day and night, and yeah, he did say he'd failed to use it on Zack and Pizza, but he also suggested he failed to connect with Cuth on Night 4 (I think- he said tried, in a manner that suggested he didn't succeed), never mentioned you and only one of the players he'd told me he'd connected with is currently still alive.

On N3, choxorn and Mat93 were linked by Cass, Zack used his magic to ensure all actions on them would succeed, and G1K also saw KingMorgan and Jarrema visiting them. Looks like Jarrema's action succeeded, since Mat mentioned that his action on G1K failed N3, and choxorn's block on Murska set up on N2 failed N3.

Mat93, did KingMorgan also talk to you?

I was trying to target Murska-san but I was redirected onto Newyn-san by someone or something and anyway Murska-san wasn't dead so there was nothing to be gotten from him.

Why would someone with the power to redirect use it to redirect you to dead people? Maybe you really can't talk to dead people and when Murska was resurrected you couldn't fake it and had to create a cover story?

Unless we're at lylo and Tak is the designated patsy, I can't see a scum motivation behind Jarrema's claim. Even if we are at lylo, it would seem needlessly risky to play it this way.

This is a perfect summation of our current situation, Winston-san. And I say you're in on it. Whichever one of you and Jarrema is higher on the votee-tally I'll vote for.

This is kind of what I want to know as well. It isn't as though claiming is some sort of a problem here, what with pretty much everyone having done so.

Because, please excuse me, edse-sama, Jarrema-san is baka and making impudent false accusations, and Winston-san is helping fan the flames while ignoring all accusations against himself.

Here's what I think might be going on with corruption.

Varethites can corrupt people. The corrupted don't become Varethites; however, when Murska is lynched, he can point to one of the corrupted folks, and that hapless patsy will die in his stead. This becomes an additional kill for scum.

So I think Murska is a Varethite who knows exactly who are corrupt. We can keep lynching him until he runs out of patsies. At the same time night kills will continue. 2 patsies left, plus two NK. so 4 people will die until we lynch Murska.

We can block Murska, and instead try and lynch his friends. The problem is we don't know who to lynch. We might lynch even more folks before we hit any other Varethite.

Murska might be even the only scum this game who can set up kills in advance, so there's always someone killed while he's blocked or not alive.

Takhisis's power is more necro-mancery than chrono-mancery. But so is Kennigit's.

If Varethites are not revealed on lynch, become undead and continue their evil deeds, then it makes sense for Takhisis to investigate them. I kind of believe him.

I also believe Winston and edse not revealing their power. Scum would make up something.

Zack's active power is unverifiable. He might be scum.

G1K, choxorn, Mat, Pizza, Cass seem to check out alright.

If that's true, lynching Murska is a ridiculous waste of time, because we'll just lynch townies instead until we run out of time. Wasting three days and at least two innocents to kill one scum seems a bit counterproductive. How do you know more people won't get corrupted, anyway?

Also, a scum who can not only escape death but get townies effectively lynched in their place would be a crazy overpowered ability that I don't think Arakhor would put in this game.

Honestly, that you even suggest this makes me think you're kind of scummy. If corruption works like that, your role would be a perfect cover for a Varethite corruptor and you'd want us to waste time voting for Murska, whether he's on your team or not.
