Evening Day 4​

It had been a quiet afternoon, rife with menace. Few voiced new accusations as the town sharpened their pitchforks and knives. They marched down to the river where the mermaid was luxuriating, and soon the river ran red with her blood.

Earthling was just a member of the Circus!!

Disappointed by the lack of any incriminating evidence, the town returned to their houses, poured themselves stiff drinks and went to sleep.
